Definitely AK. I really wanted to like this park but for me it definitely lacked any magic.

It depends. If you think about this from the perspective of paying for a full day admission ticket to just one park it would be AK. If its part of the Park Hopper experience its not so bad. Worth a half day at least.

I voted HS. It is in need of a serious update. It has some great rides, but I like some of the other parks better. Disney has an awesome opportunity with that park.

I'm gonna go with the unpopular opinion of Epcot :confused3 Out of all of the parks on my last trip I found that the most disappointing. The fireworks were a big let down compared to when I had seen them in 2006 and there are not too many rides :/ Second to least is DHS. I LOVE LOVE LOVE AK AND MK:rotfl2:

Unpopular opinion I suppose :rotfl::rotfl:

I honestly like them all, but if I have to pick it would be Animal Kingdom. Mainly because it doesn't matter when we go it seems to be the hottest park.

Which is your least favorite park in Disney World? Mine would most definitely be Animal Kingdom, for these reasons:

  • There are not many rides.
  • It is sort of boring.
  • The animals are not 'special'...

Now, when Avatarland is finished, maybe Animal Kingdom will be better...But I am not holding my breath.:confused3

The animals are not "special" is a ridiculous reason. How many zoos can you find an anteater in? There are plenty of animals that are not commonly found in zoos. To anyone who says it "lacks magic" needs to stop and look at all the detailing. It's a seriously gorgeous park. Yes it's hot in Florida but there are plenty of shaded trails and stores and shows to stop in and take a break with.

My least favourite is Hollywood Studios, but I still really enjoy it. I've seen the shows multiple times, enough times for my to not really see them again now so that's kind of what does it for me. I feel like this is the next park that needs a little love. To me it's probably a one day park and it seems like every time we go to DHS it rains so everyone leaves and it works out perfectly!

I used to say that AK was my least favorite. But a couple of things have put HS there.

I have a 3 yo daughter, and there isn't much for little ones to do there. Plus, AK's Wilderness Explorer "game" can really boost your experience. It's fun, yet very educational.

Also, since I'm really into photography; AK is a much better park to shoot, IMHO. Not even the animals so much as all of the amazing details. It's also quite scenic as well.

I picked DHS because it just doesn't have enough it's small and hasn't changed much in the last 15 years. If you think about this, this is an endless discussion because it's all based on one persons opinion. The most votes are for AK but in my opinion AK is an amazing park. Some people say it's like a zoo. A zoo has animals in their own little habitat separated from from everything else. Kilimanjaro safaris the attraction where you see the most animals does this in some cases like the lions but you don't see it. Otherwise all the animals are on a African savannah as they would be in Africa except its in Florida. People forget there was supposed to be more to AK they were really over budget and Eisner cut them off. DHS was built because universal announced they were going to build a park in Florida so Disney said were gonna build a studio park in Orlando and they got it done in sooner than universal did. May 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of DHS. Epcot was what Walt wanted and that's why they built it except walt wanted to create a city out of it. Instead Disney created a park that featured some of walts favorite things. World showcase shows cultures from all over the world where you can get souvenirs from China and eat in Morocco without taking a plane from one to another. The other half of Epcot is future world walt loved technology and what would come in the future. MK will always be that park that's always about fantasy and family enjoyment. Truly if you actually did everything in WDW it would take you months. And for those who dislike AK that park has so many hidden activities and adventures it's so much more than a half day park. Disney is not about rides Disney is about putting you in the magic, fantasy, and immersiveness that each park what meant to do. WDW is a destination like no other lets all be thankful walt had a dream to show it to us.

Definitely Epcot! We've done soarin at DL and at WDW, and while it was fun, it's the same at both parks and kinda boring after a couple rides. The one thing we did enjoy at Epcot was the different favors of coke lol. We will probably do Epcot once while we are there but make it a morning rope drop thing, and only go for a few hours. I found it quite boring! TT wasn't that great either, I think.

Um, there is an anteater at my local zoo... But seriously, no need for judgment - just because the stated reason is not true for you does not necessarily make it "ridiculous". I looked at the detailing. It lacked magic for me. I have seen pretty much every animal there at my local zoo multiple times a year since childhood. My family actually loved HS. That doesn't make either of us right or wrong, as all of this stuff is obviously just personal opinion. Our experiences and tastes are different and that's ok. :flower3:

Least fav is probably DHS.

I love MK forever. It will always be my fav.

Epcot was tied for fav with MK for a long time, but now it has dropped down the list. Epcot needs some serious love. I am thinking of skipping it all together on my next trip, depending on when I go. (If I go during F&G or F&W then I won't skip, but otherwise, meh, my time is better spent elsewhere).

AK used to be my least fav but I finally spent a good amount of time there on my most recent trip and I actually really liked it. It is a little quieter/boring than the other parks but it is very pretty and is great for meandering around on your own, which I like to do.

DHS is small and there's not enough to do IMO. I have skipped it many times on most of my recent trips over the years. But now since Epcot and I are in a trial separation (lol), I might give DHS more attention this year. :)

Zombie, thread, but I will play. I have to go with most people and agree with AK. I am not a huge animal lover, I think they need more rides (I love the idea of a Tarzan dark ride, maybe an Up themed ride like Peter Pan's Flight) and a boat ride. I think Avatarland is going to be an improvement, but I don't intend to visit AK my next visit.

It's a tough choice for me between Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Both parks need some serious attention.

Animal Kingdom is the definition of a half day park. It is certainly a little better now than when it opened without Asia, but there still is not enough there 15 years later to justify the prices Disney is charging for a day in that place. Hopefully Pandora will help to correct the lack of worthwhile attractions. I really didn't care for the Avatar movie, but that doesn't necessarily mean I won't like the new land. I'll reserve judgement until I'm actually able to ride the rides myself.

Since they're actually doing something about the Animal Kingdom (albeit very slowly), that is why I voted the Disney Hollywood Studios as the worst park. That place is just depressing to me, and is just a park with no identity.

When it opened 25 years ago, Disney-MGM Studios was an actual working studio and the whole theming worked. You could go in the Animation building and watch real animators working on real cells to be in real Disney movies. You could go on the backlot tour and see real production taking place. You could tour the soundstages and watch TV shows and movies being filmed. The park actually felt alive, even if the actual number of things to do was relatively small.

Now the park lacks identity. You can't see any real production work being done. What's left of the Backlot tour and the Animation building are just a joke.

The rest of the park is just a hodgepodge of ideas thrown together. The Tower of Terror was a nice addition (with a bit of a stretch for an "old Hollywood" tie-in), but then they went and stuck the Rock n' Rollercoaster next to it. It makes no sense and looks completely out of place.

The Hollywood Studios is in major need of a complete overhaul. Disney needs to get rid of any vestiges of the "working studio" that are left because those pieces look so out of place because they are so far removed from current reality. Put the truncated Backlot Tour out of its misery. Blow up the Animation building and put in a real attraction based on one or more Disney animated movies. Bulldoze the Streets of America and replace it with a giant Pixar Land to connect Toy Story Mania with a Cars re-themed Lights, Motors, Action! Create an entire Star Wars land to surround the current lone Star Wars ride. All of this could have been done with just half the money they spent on MyMagic+.

I didn't say it was the only place in north america with an anteater. I just said it's not that common to find one.

I can agree with you there, but that wasn't really the point of my reply. No matter! :goodvibes

So obviously, my least favorite is AK. There was just not enough there, especially living close to two really excellent zoos. Of course, I am also in agreement with all saying HS and Epcot could use some major love, even though we really enjoyed both of those parks.

I chose magic kingdom because it's always such a zoo. I prefer a more leisurely pace and I don't like waiting to meet characters so much.
