Which is your least favorite park in Disney World? Mine would most definitely be Animal Kingdom, for these reasons:

  • There are not many rides.
  • It is sort of boring.
  • The animals are not 'special'...

Now, when Avatarland is finished, maybe Animal Kingdom will be better...But I am not holding my breath.:confused3

I love them all but I think DHS has too much geared towards playhouse disney and older rides like indiana jones, GMR ets. Although TOT is one of my faves in all the parks. It's hard to pick a worst when Disney is such an amazing place to be!!

Well, go ahead and vote for 'None of them...'!

Animal Kingdom hands down. sigh boring and hotttt! I go for my DGD but it wastes time to me and did I mention is is hotttt!

I think I must take exception with the way you worded your question. I really don't think there is any such thing as a 'worst' park. That is such a negative construction. Perhaps I just prefer a gentler and less pejorative adjective such as 'least favourite' or 'least enjoyable'? And I wonder why you choose to focus exclusively with the negative (in this thread). There just seems, to me, to be altogether too much negativity and nastiness on these boards lately.

I personally find the Animal Kingdom to be one of my favourites. I think there are actually quite a few rides. And other attractions which are at least as enjoyable, if not more so, than some of the rides. I don't find it in the least boring: we usually will be in the park from RD til closing. And I find the animals to, in fact, be the most special aspect of the entire park, hence the name of the park!!!!

And please don't bother flaming me. I am in no way trying to say that no one is allowed to criticize disney, so don't even start with that. Constructive criticism is always a good thing. Negativity for the sake of negativity is not.

I am most definitely not a flamer!:) I didn't mean to be so negative, it was meant as more of a 'poking fun' adjective, not pure negativity. Sorry.:)

I also agree that there's no worst park, least favorite, sure but not worst because they're all good.I voted AK because the theme itself will never hold my attention like any of the other parks.Compare walking around AK and just seeing trees to seeing all the countries in the World Showcase or the atmosphere of Main street USA,it's a nice place but just doesn't have the same kind of magic.I love the theme of DHS 10 times more than I do AK's but DHS is also a let down in that it has a lot more potential that it's never reached,so although AK is still my least favorite DHS is surprisingly not all that far behind at my #3 spot.I'll rank'em Olympic Style.

EPCOT 9.2
MK 8.9
DHS 7.6
AK 7.0

Thanks for changing the title of your thread:thumbsup2. And I really didn't mean to crawl down your throat about it. Blame it on reading too many hot button threads lately and the late hour! But your title does have a 'kinder, gentler' tone to it now, so thanks for that.

And I'll even chime in and admit that I do have a least favourite park: DHS. Used to love it back in the day when it was a real, working studio with a real back lot and an animation studio that was actually producing new features. Now it seems like a shadow of its former self. Sad really, all that unrealized potential. But we still go and enjoy some of the attractions each time we visit 'the World".

No problem!:)

AK is my "least favorite", I enjoy much of what is there, but there is not enough 'there' there,

Keeping in mind I don't dislike any park, it's AK for me and DHS second least (which is why I generally do both on the same day).

None is the worst persay -- rather less of a favorite. It is sort of tied for DHS and AK for me. I don't dislike either of them but prefer MK and Epcot over them. I wish DHS had more things to do. For that matter I wish AK had a few more attractions as well.

DHS...It used to be Animal Kingdom, but we developed a new appreciation for it on our last few trips.DHS on the otherhand ,there just isn't enough to keep us going there every trip..The rides are great. But between the height requirements( DD too small) ,the intensity( Dh not a fan) and the absolute MAYHEM involved with TSM, it isn't worth it.Especially since the shows are the same shows we have seen for years now.I really wish they would give this park some love.

Another vote for AK as "least favorite", but with a small disclaimer! We love AK and hit it every trip, but usually only for a half day. There just isn't enough there for a full day. We'll hit a few favorites in the morning, lunch at Yak & Yeti and then it's off to somewhere else... :cool1:

Voted as such.....I don't care to see animals in captivity...no matter how they are presented....aisles are too narrow, too much congestion....no rhyme or reason to navigating from attraction to attraction and not knowing where you are....and especially with all the vegetation closing in the paths....very hot with no breeze...just too closed in....from all those reasons, we can have a lot better, cooler fun filled time in the other 3 parks......

Hollywood studios.
Not that much there for me. ToT scares me, I can't see 3D (partially blind) so those are out too.

I like the animals, thoroughly enjoy Kali rapids and just enjoying the park at AK.

Like Epcot, it is funny to me to see what is made of some of the countrys at world showcase where I've been. What is considered to be typically theirs :) Some of the best food here too.

MK well, a lot to see and do.

All parks offer great opportunities to just sit and people-watch :happytv:

We're first timers so to us, they were ALL fantastic. I did pick "Epcot" though because my kids were the most bored in there. I was NOT bored in any way.

I loved Animal Kingdom more then the rest because of the landscaping and atmosphere.

I voted for DHS. For those who equate the number of attractions/rides, to the time factor of what equals a so call half day park. Then IMO, DHS would win hands down. Albeit, my favorite ride happens to be in this park (ToT). If I had to leave one park off my to do list. Because I had to pick one. Then place the check mark next to DHS. :thumbsup2
