We are heading to US for the first time with the family in April. We are trying to figure out which park to do if we only go for one day.

Does anyone know which park has less 3D and more younger rider rides, IOA or US? One of my kids absolutely refuses to do 3D. :sad2:

I appreciate the help. ;)

If your child won't do Spiderman because its in hi-def 3D, he/she will be missing a fantastic attraction!

As silly as it sounds my son rides Spiderman with us but without the 3D glasses on. You can always try that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe you can go to guest services and get a pair of glasses that let you see 3D without the effect.

3d usually gives me a headache, what do you mean by "3D without the effect?"

To show 3D, they project 2 different images at the same time, and give you glasses with DIFFERENT polarizing lenses that each block one of those images. This way, each eye gets a different image, which mimics how you see in the real world. If you watch without glasses at all, you see 2 images at once, that mostly overlap but are offset from each other, which gets rid of 3D, but is annoying. But if you have glasses where both lenses block the SAME image, then both eyes see the same thing, so you don't see the two overlapping images, but you also don't see the 3D effect - everything just looks flat, like a normal movie.

You can also just wear the regular glasses, and cover one eye with your hand, if they don't have the non-3D glasses available.
