I have 3 kids.... a 14 year old girl, and 7 year old boy/girl twins. With only one day to spend at Universal, which park would you recommend? Where would the kids have more fun and be able to do more things/rides etc?

Thanks..... Paul

My kids prefer Islands of Adventure to Universal Studios because of the rides. Do your kids like coasters (at least the 14yo--the 7yo's might be too short for the big coasters, anyway). There are also other fun rides and Spiderman is a must-do for all of you. Make sure that they wear swimsuits under their clothes or bring a spare set of clothes so you can all do the wet rides. They are fairly close to each other and you can go on those rides and then change clothes if you want. If your kids don't like "bigger" rides then try the Studios since they have more shows.

My son is 10 and loves simulators and is leery of coasters and big drops on water rides. USF was the clear favorite for him since there's quite a bit to do there and a great place to get wet too.

I like IOA, because IOA has a lot mor rides....i just turned 15 and i absolutley LOVE IOA. The roller coasters are a must...(esp THe INcredible HUlk Coaster). for the twins...if they like thrills....u can tke them on DR.Doom's Fearfall Towers..and Spiderman is a fun ride for the whole family...the water rides ARE THE BEST!!!!! Jarassic Park might frighten the little ones...but it is still fun...posidens fury is an intersting show/ride...anyways...IOA is the way to go!!

IOA I agree will be best for that age group hope u enjoy it but u may want to try a bit of US ad well and IOA:)

These are AGED kids? My Mom has AGED kids! :teeth:

Well, I guess in the realm of the Disney lifestyle they ARE aged.

I didn't take my son to Orlando till he was 6, which IS aged when you think people bring their newborns down. I insisted he was old enough to enjoy it.

Luckily the year he turned 6 was the year IOA opened! :bounce:

He LOVES IOA but he also appreciates Universal because he's a Nickelodeon and theatre fan. Your 7 year olds will LOVE Jimmy Neutron at USF and the Nick Slime Time area. Your 14yo will be thrilled with IOA I'm sure, because it is a "teen's dream".
