Which park for DS6 bday?

I am trying to reserve our park days for Dec. DS will celebrate his 7th bday on this trip.
We are only doing two 2 at Disney before we move to Universal.
One day at MK and one day at DHS.
I can’t decide which park to spend on his actual bday. He doesn’t really a preference to the rides at either.
DHS we will probably do Sci Fi for lunch and maybe Hollywood and Vine for dinner to see the characters in their Xmas wear.
Mk might be Tony’s or CRT for lunch. Not sure about dinner. Maybe Trex or Whispering Canyon.

If it's a surprise so you're deciding, I would go with MK . If you're hoping to ride RotR and don't get a BG, don't want him disappointed first thing on his birthday.

Its not really a surprise. DS doesn’t know the difference between DHS and MK enough to pick on his own. He thinks the parks are just Disneyworld.
He has been on ROTR not not a deal breaker. I guess I could show him the videos of the rides and see what he wants.

At 6 yo, I would do MK. Much more for him to enjoy there than other parks as a whole.

If you're choosing for him then I would go with MK. There is a lot more there that will interest a 6yo.

On my son's 4th birthday, he wanted to go to Hollywood Studios for Toy Story and Star Wars land (although at 39.5 inches, he was too short for some of the rides). Part of that might have been he had never been to Hollywood Studios, but he remembered a couple of trips to MK and wanted to do something new.

I'm 40 and I would love to spend my birthday at MK I'm sure your son would love either, but MK seems like the more magical choice!
