Which park first?

We are going to have one day at each park. Which park would you do first?

I am leaning towards US first and then IOA, just wondering what others do?

for me, it depends on the time period/month, when i go.


for the most part of my vacation time at universal, i go to the studios first.

i started going the year after they opened.
just a nostalgia thing for me.
it brings back memories when i took my boys there when they were littles.

i find the studio side a slower pace for me.
they have more shows there and i alternate rides between show times.

some of the rides have staggering opening times at the studios and that fits into my schedule very well.

I think I would do IOA first because it's larger with more to do, so if you hit it up on day one you'll be fresh and have the stamina to do it all. Then you can relax a little on day two at USF which has more shows and a slower pace. Also, if you decide to get 2-park tickets, you could spend the evening on the second day going back to IOA to catch anything you might have missed on day one.
