This will be our first Christmas trip to WDW and we really want to do everything, so we have a very long trip planned for Dec. 17-29. We are planning to hit all the rides at all the parks on the 17th through the 22nd, because according to these boards, the crowds will not have arrived by then. The rest of the trip will be devoted to enjoying the Christmas themed activities. We are doing
MVMCP on the 19th, but everything else will be 23rd on. On the 23rd, we are going to sleep in and then visit some of the other resorts to see their decorations. Around 2:30, we will head to MGM to watch the Jingle Jungle Parade. We will hang around, maybe doing a couple attractions and looking around the shops etc., until the Osbourne Family Lights are turned on and then will head back to our resort. For the 24th, we have ADR at Chef Mickey for breakfast, then we are heading to Epcot. Again, we will try to do a couple attractions in Future World before the World Showcase opens. We will visit as many countries as we can between 11:00 and 5:30 and then we will head over to watch theTree Lighting Ceremony. Then we will head for dinner at Le Cellier and then find a spot for Illiminations.
On the 25th, we will sleep in and then after presents head for Epcot World Showcase. We are hoping to get the rest of the countries in. There are speakers in each country that tell about the how those countries celebrate Christmas. We don't want to miss any of those. I have 5:00 ADR for Garden Grill, which I am hoping to change to a Candlelight Processional Dinner Package. We are going to watch the 8:15 CP and when it's over, we are heading to MK for the EMH that lasts to 3:00 a.m. DD and I just want to be able to say that we were able to stay up late enough to still be in the MK at 3:00 in the morning. Of course, on the 26th, we are going to sleep until afternoon, then we will just hang around the resort until time to head to our 7:30 ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe. As for the 27th, 28th and 29th, we really haven't made any plans. If there are things that we still have not seen or done, we will try to fight the crowds. If we have pretty well covered the "World", we will try Universal and SeaWorld.
