We Liked Both. And We Did Not Have Any Problem Seeing Either One. The Pod Is More Traditional Disney Characters And The Bp Is Mostly Pixar Characters Like Monsters Inc., The Incredibles, Etc.
And if you're carrying a little one keep your eyes out too. I was holding my 2 year old in February (just woke up from nap) and one sailed right at us. Can't possibly hold 34 wiggly lbs and catch a ball at the same time. I leaned. Just be ready!
Out of curiosity, the ones of you who don't like POD - are your kids boys or girls? Just occurred to me (duh!) that it's mainly a princess parade, no idea why I didn't think about that before. Probably the reason, I like it too. lol...

I'm one of the above-posters who isn't impressed with PoD. I have two girls and a boy. My girls love the princesses, but honestly I don't see PoD as a "princess parade" even though they are in it. There is a Lion King float, an Alice float, Pinocchio float, and an Ariel float, none of which are the traditional princesses.
What I don't like about the PoD is the distance the characters are from the audience. They seem so out of reach and up high. I also don't like the parade stops which are too long. I like that in BPB you can actually ineract with the characters during the parade. My kids' danced with Jessie and Mr. Potato Head.
