Which outlet mall should I visit? I have 2 DD (6 and 3) we are looking for a Minnie Mouse costume in a girls size 12/14+. The younger one is no problem to size. Also interested in finding Mickey waffle irons or something like that. Thanks.

Good luck, the selection is hit and miss and you're looking for a specific item in a specific size. I'd go with Belz, there are 2 Disney outlet stores there so you two chances.

The outlet store work better when you need to buy a lot of "stuff" but aren't particular as to what you get. Good if you have to buy souveniers for friends, relatives etc.

Our experience has been that we find 90% of the same stuff at all the outlet malls. It is really OUTLET shopping. It will just be luck of the draw. we go every trip and the merchandise is seldom the same from one trip to the next (except of course for the merchandise they have that's priced the same as the parks) Often times they have things in 1 or 2 sizes only. The store at the Premium outlet is the easiest to get to if you're at WDW - and on trip that had the most items that appealed to us, but at the next trip we found that BELZ was more to our liking. As I said, luck of the draw. Go where you can as time allows.

Ditto for Belz. There's a closer outlet mall off 535 (I think) with a Disney outlet but the Belz outlets seem to have a larger selection.

According to my researching, Belz Outlet is next to Universal Studios....

We usually have better luck at Belz but last month we hit all 3 (2 at Belz, 1 at Premium) in the same day and didn't buy a thing! They had alot of 100 years of magic leftovers and they weren't marked down as much as they were last year. Last year I got $48 & $58 sweatshirts for under $20. This year they were closer to $30 and were either real small (XS, S) or real big (XXL, XXXL).

You may want to call about the costumes before you go if that's the main reason to go. I didn't look much in the children's section, but I don't recall any costumes. No waffle irons either. It's usually stuff that has a date to it (like 100 years of magic or off season) that they can't sell anymore at the parks.
