I'm sure this has been covered a million times before, but now I am getting antsy.

What recommendations for making ressies...
Where do I run to first?
Palo's? Spa? Kids club?

Can anyone tell me what the earliest times are that we can go to make ressies?
What time does Palo's Begin Dinner? 6:00 or earlier?

I'm going with mom this time... so wave as you guys watch me running around the ship trying to get it all done :)

I have never done the running thing, on vacation, never been to Palo's or the Spa in 3 cruises. But I can tell you to relax and not worry about the kids clubs, there is enough room for all the kids and their names are already in the computer. We went and registered after the drill, there was a table set up outside the clubs, registered for both (diferent clubs) and got our pager took about 10 minutes.

Maybe I was just lucky, but during our 4 day cruise last March, I didn't wait in the Palo's line at all. We boarded, had lunch, went to our stateroom (bags already there) THEN I went to Palo's. No line - no trouble got exactly what we wanted! This was about 2:45 - 3PM. Earlier there was a HUGE line. I believe the last reservations is for 10:30PM. If you know what you want at the Spa - go directly to their reservation desk - don't take the tour until AFTER you make your reservation. The massages at CC book up first it seems. Hope this year goes as smoothly!

The Kid's Club is a non-issue since you're already booked, it's just a matter of going there anytime that first afternoon. There's no rush for any time slots, your child is already eligible for all of them.

I'd suggest deciding which one is most important to you between Palos and the Spa and going to that one first.

If you're on a 7 day cruise, there are more opportunities (time slots) available for the Spa and for Palos, so not quite so much hurry. If you're on a 3 day cruise, less time slots so more importance. In other words, 875 cabins on the ship competing for three days of Palo's dinner reservations vs 875 cabins competing for 7 days worth of Palo's dinner reservations.

Also, do you want a Spa appointment that has limited availability or one that has more general availability?

When I was on a 7 day cruise this past January, Palo's started serving dinner at 6pm.

Both places started taking Reservations about 1:15 or 1:30.

Best advice, prioritize between Palo's and the Spa and go to the one that is higher priority first and then be more flexible with the times for the second one.

hope that helps

Thanks Al!
As it turns out, I'll be on YOUR 3day cruise :)
Looking forward to meeting you at the
"coach's" stateroom !
