Which one?

I belong to a photo club, and each month we have a contest. This month's category is "open", which means absolutely anything can be submitted. It can be Photoshopped as much as I want. Always fun, right? Here is one that I am considering entering. The first is the original:

And this has been put through the Coffeeshop Rita Moody Pop:

The first. I like the complementary color scheme with the reddish orange leaves against the green background.

I am very active in camera clubs in NJ, so I know what you are feeling. Since you can post process the image selectively, I would crop the right off from where the squiggly branch is on the top. The cluster of leaves in the top right is distracting me from the main leaf, as it is bright and pulling my eye. Secondly, I would clone out the blue sky around the main leaf. Again partially due to the brightness. I would also clone out or tone down the upturned leaf leading to the right off the main branch. I like the coloring and mood better of the first image. That's my 3 second critique.
