Which one would you pick for breakfast and why?

We have not tried Ohana or 1900 PF, but we have eaten at Tusker House and absolutely loved it. Great selection, great character interaction, and I loved the openness of the food area.

Whatever you decide, enjoy!

Would pick Tusker House....why, because of Donald and being in AK early.

We are doing 1900 Park Fare in May for my DDs birthday because it is *all* about Mary Poppins in my Mary's world :)

I have only tried Ohana, but 1900 Fair is on my ADRs for next month...Ohana was an awesome experience, the food was mm mmm good, just was awesome, very sweet so we asked for water and coffee...Stitch was amazing, playing tricks on the other characters, and my daughter who was wearing a shirt with him and lilo on it (lilo was kissing stitch on the cheek and he wanted to get a picture like that, well of course he couldnt use words and we were a little slow that morning, so he horsed around, then we figured it out and it turned out to be one of the cutest pics we had) Food is served family style (all items on a long dish) and you can ask for more of whatever...It was such a positive experience that it is the only eatting place we kept this time to duplicate from last year, and have agreed to make it our breakfasst place the day we leave...Good luck with whatever choice you make!

We've done Tusker and Ohana this past week and both my daughters and I prefered Ohana. The food is yummy, so is the bread and Stitch is something else. We laughed soo much with him.

I have to say that Tusker is really close behind though with the yummy juice but I felt the caracters visit were a bit rushed.

We have never made it to Tusker House yet, but I hear that it is really good.

I enjoy both Ohana and 1900 PF just about equally.

To choose, I think it depends on which characters you prefer. We like both lineups.

Ohana (Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, Stitch)
1900 PF (Pooh, Tigger, Mary P, Alice, Mad Hatter)

Also, Ohana is family style table service (you are served, but the menu is more limited) where 1900 PF is buffet. That really doesn't matter much to me, but some people have a preference.

Overall, it is a toss up for me.

I did nearly all the character meals on my last trip, and breakfast at Tusker House is the only one that both my daughter and I agreed we MUST do again. The food selection is AMAZING. Try the blintzes!

Ohana would be our second choice. Lilo and Stitch were great, but the dining room is HUGE and we had other families trying to butt in and hunt down the characters, hogging them from other families. That was my one complaint.

If you choose Tusker House, I have two pieces of advice. First is make the earliest reservation you can get. If you make a reservation for after 8:30, it will be difficult to get past the cast members at the rope. We were held until 9am, because of the morning parade/show they put on with the characters right at opening and I ended up being a whole half hour late to my reservation. I was in tears.

The second is to demand to be seated in the main dining room, not the side dining room closest to the bathrooms. You get characters in both places, but the side dining room is so small and crowded that every time Daisy turned around she basicly had her tail in someone's plate.

We've eaten at all three (and will be again next trip) ... prefer in this order:

Tusker House
1900 PF
'Ohana

Tusker House has the best food, hands down. Also, we like the setting, Daisy and getting into the park early.

1900PF has the Mad Hatter and Alice who are always a hoot. Strawberry soup is delicious, rest of food is ok.

'Ohana's food is so limited compared to the others - and not foods I enjoy that much - but, boy, is family style relaxing to mom and dad! We've never had a lively Stitch but we keep hoping.

Have never had breakfast at TH, it get good write up's here. I prefer 1900 PF over Ohana's. Have never gotten good service at this restaurant. 1 breakfast, fair service, 2 dinners, poor service.

We have eaten at all 3 but the only one that we have ADRs for, for our May trip, is O'hana's. Both of my DDs really like Lilo and she really spent a lot of time with them when we last ate there. The food is also really good plus it comes to you family style. 1900 Park Fare I thought was good as well, with great character interaction. As for Tusker House, we really don't care for this breakfast (I know there is a huge following here on the DIS), the only good thing about it is that you can meet Daisy there.
