Which one would you give as a gift??

Out of all the pictures I took with this family apple picking today, I wanted to save the picture that I thought was the most touching (not necessarily the best photographically speaking) and keep them from seeing it...get it printed and framed for the holidays and give it to them as a surprise gift.

Which one do you think is "better" for this purpose??

I don't particularly like this picture, but the look on the baby's face just KILLS me.

I think I would have to agree. The only thing that even made me consider the second was that look on the baby's face...she just looked so happy, but I agree...the first is probably a better picture overall.

I like the first as well, but I would be interested in seeing the 2nd with the Dad cropped out. I think the side shot of Mom and baby could be really cool with out Dad's full face as a distraction.
