Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace? I was going to do one of them twice. I have a VERY picky 12y/o and these both have all the things he likes to eat. I am also thinking both have easy access to MGK (for after dinner) I have heard good things about Chef Mickeys, so which one would you go to twice?

We think they are both great! I do believe there is a bit more variety at CP than at CM's, though. It is nice to leave CP and still be right in the midst of things, however, it's also nice to enjoy a leisurely walk back from CM, too. How's that for just confusing things?? :thumbsup2

Maybe comparing the menu's will help you decide! Good eats! :cheer2:

I would vote for CP. Most people love CM's, but we were not impressed. We love CP, and it's wonderful. And you could always do breakfast one day and dinner another to make it different. CP is great for any meal.

We've been to both, and CM on multiple occasions. For atmosphere alone, we would do CM more than once. Also, going to CM makes a nice break from being in the park. But both are great, I don't think you'd go wrong doing either twice.

why don't you just make ADRs at both and then cancel one when you decide which place you like better?

We have done both, and in our next visit we have one at CP and two at CM's. We enjoy CM's more than CP. We usually go to MK after CM's and usually just walk. It is not that long of a walk and it is better than getting on the monorail and going all the way around.

Definetly Chef Mickeys.

It s a must do for us every trip. We just aren't that impressed with Crystal Palace. Give me those Parmesan Potatoes anytime. :goodvibes

How about adding the one at the GF. Check the menu and see if they have about the same things the others do. You are still on the monorail to the MK for after dinner and that way you could have 4 different experiences.

We just ate at CP for the first time during our visit last October. I thought the food was just so-so and we had a table that was way too close to the tables on either side of it. We felt like sardines and couldn't get up or down without hitting the people sitting behind us with our chairs. So based on that experience alone, I would vote for CM's!

My wife would definitely choose CP, which is very good and has the better food selection. But I personally like CM because of the atmosphere (location).

I tried to Make ADRs for 1900 park fare and the CM said it was going to be a pre plated meal(didnt say of what though) because the regular 1900 park fare is being rehabed at the time we are there, so maybe I should call back and see...I already have the ADR for CP 2x(both are nights when they have wishes & spectro) and I have CM down for 1 night. Thanks for all of the advice :goodvibes It seems CM is comming out ahead of CP

Guess that could be a problem - the preplated option doesn't sound too promising - I haven't found one at WDW yet that I care for. We are doing CM again this year but if I had my choice I would be at Concourse Steakhouse instead. We have 2 small children so CM is the better option this trip. Some of the group want adult beverages so that leaves CP out.

Good luck and have a magical trip.

We´re doing both this time as we also did last time. This time we might do CP twice though, so that´s my vote.
