I'm making final strategy for trip this weekend. I asked this before, but now we will be doing the luau at RPH on Saturday night. We plan on arriving Friday and doing MNSSHP on Friday night then Universal for Saturday & Sunday. Which park do you recommend for each day. We may doing a little park hopping. We will be staying at Portofino, so we will have FOTL. My original thought was to do US on Saturday since we will be up late at Disney Friday, but now with the luau Saturday night, we might be better off going to IOA on Saturday since it opens earlier. That would allow almost a full day at IOA and a full day at Universal Sunday.

If you park hop, I would go to IOA first. They close earlier than Universal Studios.

Acutally, both parks open at 9am this weekend. USF is open till on Fri and Sat. During the week, they're open till 6.

SpideyHulk24: About what time do we need to catch the boat to be at the park for opening? Does the boat ever get too crowded in the morning they can't take everyone? Maybe we'll run into one another there. My DS (9) still doesn't know we are going.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the Luau when you return! Have a great trip!!! Oh and...IOA is always busiest on a Saturday but with express you should be ok.
