which one to stay at?

It's down to the Beach Club or the Yacht Club which one should we stay at? I know they both share food and pool. What are the pros and cons to each one?

Yacht Club-Nautical themed and all rooms have full balconies
Beach Club- Beach themed and only some rooms have a full balcony others only a partial..Other than that the only major difference is That YC is closer to the boat launch and BC is closer to the Epcot walkway..And even that is no big deal

I prefer the BC. I like that the walk to Epcot is closer and I just love the atmosphere. I think the YC is a little darker in decor than the BC. For adults only, I might pick YC, but with kids, BC!!!!

We will have DS's 8 and 9 with us. So you think BC is better for kids?

We stayed at BC with DS's (9, 9 & 7 y.o.) They loved it. We asked for a room near the lobby so we were close to SAB. We were also close enough to the beach that I felt comfortable leaving them out there to watch the movie and just checked on them every so often. BC had quite a few kids in the lobby too.

I just prefer BC. I think the YC is darker and just more business like. The BC is just vacation to me. It's so beautiful and so laid back. I just love it! The pool is amazing and your kids will love it, but you get that at both places. I also like the view of the Boardwalk from the BC better.

I would choose the Beach Club, it's just the one we hope to stay at "someday". We've been inside both, and the BC seems a little brighter.

I agree, I have not stayed at ether. DH and I were at Boardwalk last year and I walked around both resorts. This was the feeling I got from just walknig around them.

Like most of the others have said we would choose BC. We have stayed at both and they are both great in their own way, but BC is brighter and feels more cheery than YC. Also, BC has the gift shop/snack bar, with freshly made pastries etc, right off of the lobby where YC's gift shop has very limited, prepackaged snacks.
