Ok,
I have these 2 videographer's only short list.
I'd love to use STVS because of the high def option, however, they are twice to 2.5 times more expensive than amoment2remember... :(

So do you gals have any pros and cons of either videographer?
I'm pulling my hair out trying to pick out these vendors ... :headache:

Thank you! :surfweb:

hello again.
i used a moment to remember becouse of the price diffrent. i wanted a video to rtemember the day.i did not care if it was high def or lots of special effects. this was a personal preference. i have to say i loved working with the men from a moment. they were so nice and i loved my video. it has all the moments i wanted and more.

i used the bronze package if you do silver or gold you will have more special effects. i think for the money diffrence it was not worth spending so much

good luck

We booked STVS. I originally wanted to have a family member film my day and I wanted to edit it myself but as we only have a small number of guests I wanted them all to enjoy the day and not have me fretting that they have filmed all the moments I wanted.

I knew the editing style I wanted but couldn't find examples of peoples work that I was happy with. Then I saw summers wedding video. So I gave STVS a call. He talked to me for ages on the phone and I feel confident he will produce the video I want. I know he is quite expensive but we only really want him to film for a few hours, I just have to put in more overtime at work to get the money together :surfweb:

Thank you both!!!
I think the same way you do sunsh1ne... :) ... but I was a little swayed by the samples I saw from SVTS.

I guess I should just save the $ for something else instead on the videographer... hehe... decisions decisions..

i'm using star fruit productions. the samples on her website are fantastic! she is very reasonably priced and has a great a la carte menu!

We're using STVS. Stan is a very nice guy and I'm so excited to have him on our wedding day. I think it really comes down to the amount of money you want to spend. I really preferred STVS' examples, so it was an easy choice for us. :) (PLUS...as a bonus, Stan was able to make us Club 33 reservations for our trip to Disneyland in CA last week!! How awesome is THAT?!....I'll post some pics soon)

We used STVS for our wedding last week. I can't imagine using anyone else at this point. It was cold and windy, but he just posted the sneak peek of our video and it is fabulous! I did go with high def, and that added to the cost, but you also get all of the raw footage with the high def.

CONGRATULATIONS dmlush!!!! :)
Thanks for the response... it's just so hard to decide... LOL!!

Maybe we can look at your video sometime eh? ;)

we are too torn as to which one to use, My first instinct was stan but its alot of money to find that is extra compared to others I have looked at. We now have a possibilty that DF sister and brother in law might not be with us and so now we think we MUST have the wedding video'd but still its hard to make the right decision as this will be the only chance we have to do it

Sarah, let me know once you figure it out...
Cause I can't make up my mind yet...

i dont think we will yet either!! so many other decisions to make and i'm rubbish at making them!

I'm debating the same thing right now!!!

I think I am leaning towards A Moment to Remember right now though because as much great things I hear about STVS and I LOVE the samples of their work (I think someone else mentioned Summer's wedding video and I totally agree! That's when I said to DF maybe I do want STVS instead...)... I honestly just don't care that much about my video... :lmao: As long as our vows are recorded and we can see people (hopefully!) having fun at our reception, than I'm okay... that's all that matters to me... so I think we will probably go with the gold package and he's giving us a discount for it being a monday wedding and a military discount so it's really not a bad price.

Let us know what you decide! :)

We went with A Moment To Remember. We looked at STVS and although I loved his work, it was kind of out of our budget (we decided a month before the wedding to add video) I'm so happy we did. Not only did the price work for us, the video was beautiful and they did a great job with the edits. We also got all the raw footage so I can watch all the film from the day, not just the highlights (but the highlights works well if you just want to see parts)
Here's a couple of clips (please excuse quality, its from photobucket)

Thank you for sharing your videos!! They're great! :)

Do you mind me asking what package you did with them?

Thank you! I love sharing them :lmao: We were really happy with the finished product

We did the middle package (I can't remember what it was called) It had 2 videographers at the ceremony, 8 hours of coverage, 1 videographer at the reception. I THINK it was $1295? I can't remember now

That was the package I was going to do but we are thinking we probably will just do the Bronze one so hopefully it'll still come out as nice as yours!

One more question if you don't mind lol... how did you put the clips of the video online? Do you have a DVD burner or something?

I'm sure it will come out very nice. I just wanted all angles of our ceremony covered, but we didn't need it. I have some software that lets you rip certain chapters in little files that I can upload to photobucket (no idea what its called though, sorry)
