My vote would be to boot Sci-Fi. We had good luck and decent food at CR and it was a fun atmosphere. Thank heaven Mama Melroses wasn't on your list- that would have been the first one I'd recommend to drop in a NY Outlaw minute!

It is not hard. Remember WDW transportation is the easiest way to get around.

Disney transporation may be easy if you don't mind long waits, being packed in like sardines next to hygenically challenged guests and the ability to go from point A to point B via points X, Y and Z.

I have been to all - and I would say drop the CORAL REEF - if you are paying OOP - definetly not worth the price.
The atmostphere ok but we did not like the food ....

I agree. I think Coral Reef is over priced and not that good. We have been going for years, and believe it or not, Sci Fi is still a hit and we have 19 and 20 somethings DSs.

I have not eaten at Sci Fi but just had dinner at Whispering Canyon on Saturday night. My family did not like it at all. We found the food to be over cooked and not that good.

I would definitely drop Sci Fi -- unless you're just so curious about it. It's different -- but different doesn't always mean good!

I'd dump the Coral Reef in a heartbeat. I've never been to the Sci Fi, so I have no opinion on that.

It sounds like you have a consensus to drop Sci Fi, especially if the food quality is to be considered...

I love Chef Mickey's.

Little kids usually don't care that much about meals. They pick a few minutes and they're done. It would be a significant investment in your time and patience (perhaps) to make your way to and from WL just for a meal. Even if the food is good (and I wouldn't count on FANTASTIC) and the ambience is interesting, it probably would not be worth it to me. I find that we get REALLY tired at WDW and have to maximize our park time and minimize our travel times when possible. Just my two cents...
