Okay, so we had ADR's for CM b'fast on our next to last day for me and dh and our 2 kids. Then my in-laws decided to join us for the weekend and I have been calling almost every day to try and add 2 adults with no success. So I made ADR's at 1900 PF for b'fast the day before the CM ressie for all of us.

We have been to CM's , but not 1900 PF and I am not sure about it after the reviews I have seen lately.

When I called yesterday, the CM said no, there was no availability for all of us at CM. But when I explained our situation, she said that "the very popular restaurants are great at fitting in extra people at your table".

I really think I want the CM ressie, should we just show up and hope for the best and go ahead and cancel 1900 PF? BTW we leave on Monday!!

What would a dis'er do??:)

Show up with the extra guests and offer to all be seated at your original table. They will see that you are serious (and willing to take responsibility for overriding your ADR) and most likely will be willing to work with you.

Our favorite breakfast is 1900 park fare, I think they have the best food for breakfast. But if you don not want to cancel CM then I would try and walk up with your in laws and explain the situation, I am sure they will work with you.

If you are going to try to add people to your ADR, I suggest showing up early - like 30 minutes early, instead of the expected 15minutes.

I've only done 1900 Park Fare for dinner. The food was very good. It was nice to enter GF, especially if you have a little girl who is going to dress up for it.
