Which one? Sci-Fi or Prime Time 50's

We are planing on trying one of these...which one! Help us decide!! DM, DD, and DS age 12.

I vote for the Prime Time.

We ate at the Sci Fi at the beginning of the month. The food was "ok" but nothing special.

I loved the home cooking at Prime Time

I've eaten at both and much prefer Prime Time. I think it's funner, and the food is definatly better.

I prefer the 50's Prime Time over Sci-fi, but both are good choice. 50's Prime Time tends to be more of an interactive experience, this may or may not appeal to a 12 year old (especially a shy one). I'm not real big on the role playing, but I like the food. From my recent visits, the servers can sense who wants to really participate in the "experience" and who is just there to eat.

My DD & DS both 12 have eaten at both several times and they much prefer Sci-Fi. They enjoy the theming, sitting in the cars like the drive in movie. The food is about the same at both places as far as quality. Whichever you pick enjoy!

sci-fi is better for lunch, burhers, a great catfish sandwich, milkshakes plus you get the movie screen and stuff, Prime Time is great to sit down for dinner, get a great homecooked meal feel, had some great meatloaf there!

DS loves CATFISH! I think we may try sci-fi do lunch and 50's for dinner!

what is the best thing to eat at both??Am I right...you sit in a car facing forward? So having a family of 3, one is left alone?

In one week, DD and I will be doing both. I think that Sci Fi is a very relaxing place for lunch. It is cool and dimly lit which is nice on a hot day. It has never taken us too long to be served either. This will be DD's first time to try PrimeTime- I ate their years ago and didn't really enjoy it.

The dining experience you have at PTC depends a great deal on your CM server.If CM is into role and jokes it up with you,it is a fun dining experience.At Sci -Fi it's the themeing that is biggest part of experience.The food is good at both and huge portions.Well that's our opinion anyway and I know opinions are like elbows.

Love both places and the themeing is great at both but if I had to vote.. I'd have to go with the 50s Prime Time Cafe. I like all the joking around by the serving staff and they use to have a hostess by the name of Mary (don't know if she's stil there, I'll find out in 2 weeks), a taller older women.. a very nice lady that made us feel at home...

We have eaten at both and our family prefers Sci Fi to Prime Time. My kids get a kick out of the old movies and commercials and my husband and I remember some of those corny movies from when we were kids. I love eating in the cars. We have no Drive Ins around here any more and my kids could not believe that a person would actually sit in a car and watch a movie. We always go during lunch because we like the lunch menu better and I think that it is a bit cheaper. I had never had Cat Fish until I ate at the sci fi. My husband and I usually split a sandwich so we are not to full for the Pecan Apple Crisp. They have a pretty good kids menu too.

DH and I prefer 50's PT as the food is better. DS likes both, but prefers Sci-Fi because he likes to sit in the car and watch the old flicks. Either is fine.
