Which One Of These!

If I were at MGM during lunch, I'd take 50s Prime Time. If I needed a dinner that didn't have to be in the parks, I'd take Boma. We enjoy both places so it would just depend on our circumstances at the time.

No doubt... Boma!!!

50'sPT was okay, but most of it was pretty basic stuff that you can have anywhere. It can be entertaining though depending on your server.

If you are picky eaters then Boma might not be the best choice, though I don't see how you can't find things on there to eat. Their prime rib is wonderful!!!

I haven't been to the Prime Time Diner but if it's anything like Sci-Fi Dine-in I would say, stay away! We ate at Boma and really enjoyed it. So I vote for Boma.

Of these choices, I would pick Boma. If you don't want to leave the park, though, Prime Time is IMO the better choice.

I've eaten at both several times and BOMA has far superior food and a lot more variety.

i have been to both and felt that the atmosphere, food, and service at Boma blows PTC out of the water! :thumbsup2

I guess I'll go against the others, but we did not enjoy our food at Boma. No one in our family (DH, 2 DDs - 5 & 7, and DS - 2) liked the food. I have not eaten at 50's so I cannot comment on their food.

Good luck with your plans. Hope you have a great trip.

OK. This is the most lopsided contest ever. I have always considered Boma among the best places at WDW. I have stated that the prime Time cag\fe is the worst (and most annoying) place to eat in WDW. Here's why

50'sPT is only "annoying" if you go in with no idea of what to expect. Many would say the same thing about WCC with all the yelling and throwing plates at you, etc... it is a combo of the experience with the food. Now I don't think the food was bad, but certainly not the caliber of Boma.

I would go with Boma at AKL because I've never visited the AKL and I'd really like to see it so I can plan future trips. However, if you plan on spending the entire day in MGM, Primetime would much easier. :)

I vote Prime Time ... I've eaten at Boma several times and I just don't see what the big deal is. It's fine and I'm sure I'll go back many more times, but give me the choice any day and I would rather be eating at PTC. Just way more fun if you ask me! :D

Guess you'll just have to schedule another trip so you can do whichever you miss this time around. :)
