Which One? MNSSHP or MVMCP????

Hello,

If you had to chose to do one of the above...which one would it be and why? As we go on 23rd Oct for 3 weeks , and both parties will be on whilst we're there!

Id love to do both, but think it will be a bit too much for us...or would it? As we're doing all disney, universal, busch, seaworld, also the night shows at disney. My birthday is in fact on Halloween and we hope to do HHN at universal too! (but DS would stay with my dad while DH & I went (DS is 27ms))

Ideally I'd love to do both, as we're going with my dad and his 2 step kids 12 & 14. So they;ve love the MNSSHP, but Ive never been to Disney so close to Xmas before so I think it would be a one time opurtunity!!

What do you think?????? What would you do??

I'd do both as they're so different! Wouldn't have thought it would be too much if you're there for 3 weeks - do MNSSHP at the start and MVMCP at the end of the trip...

Only done MNSSHP (4 times & twice at Disneyland CA)
If I had to pick one party I would do MNSSHP again, mainly bacause of temps, if I am doing fancy dress I like it to be on warm evenings, later in the year can cool right down, we did Pirate eve last Easter, too cold for dressing up, was way better when we did pirates in August year before.
Could be lucky and weather stay warmer but I would prefer my chances on a Oct eve to Nov.
If you can afford then do both, maybe try MNSSHP, if you really enjoy book the Xmas party while there.

I also would choose the MNSSHP - it can be a lot of fun for kids big & small!!

I did MVMCP for the first tme in December & it was fantastic - definately the highlight of our trip.

We are going in September & will definately be attending MNSSHP for the first time & I can't wait.

I would definately say if you can afford both then go for it.

Did MVMCP in December 2004 and MNSSHP this past October, they're both different in different ways and I personally would do both, you may not get the chance again.

I love Halloween so we actually went to 2 MNSSHP nights during our 3 and a half week holiday with the reasoning that if it rained on one night hopefully the other would be dry and blow me down with a feather that's exactly what happened.

The first night was great and wonderful in every way, we all dressed as hippies an got alot of attention (plus 4kg of sweets!!) but the second was a wash out and we were cold and tired so it wasn't fun at all!

Do both, you only live once

I would do MNSSHP only because i wouldnt feel christmasy in heat and fake snow lol

have you done the one at Universal before just the advert on the tv when we were there last october scared me lol

MNSSHP is an amazing night - the fireworks & parade and worth the money alone. We were really disapointed with MVMCP last year, and wont be going back to this party for a long time

We did MVMCP back in 2000 but it was a one off chance to go then, we've never been able to get weeks off work in November/ December again. It was really great and even now the videos we made of the party still brings tears to my eyes. Everywhere we turned there were Christmas or should I say "Holiday" decorations and extra lights and with the dark nights closing in early it looked amazing and magical especially when they made it snow on Main St the smell of Hot Chocolate and Cookies was everywhere and the special shows just on the party nights were fantastic

This year we are going in September and hope to get tickets for MNSSHP, we missed out a few years ago. Hopefully we'll have a lovely time. We've been looking at the info on the main page here there's a link at the top left hand side all about the party nights.
