Which old WDW attraction would you like to see return?

Skyway
Mr. Toad
Horizons
Original Figment

I like the recent changes to SE, but would like Irons narrating again.

And I'd like to see the El Rio del Tiempo movie return. Yes, it was a little outdated, but it was better than the crap they now run.

Horzons and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. We'll never see anything that bold or elaborate again.

River country!

:worship:Alien Encounter. Even the pre show with Skippy was fantastic !

I 100% agree with these 2 picks.

I have nothing against TL or BB (I really like TL and never been to BB), but there was something about the the ol' swimming hole. With the tube rides, water slides and swimming out to the wooden structure and zip-lining out from it. That, with the man made beach and little kiddie area, made it fun and relaxing.

HERE is a thread that is an recent look at River Country. I must warn you. The park map at the beginning can be very nostalgic, but the recent pics, can be upsetting. View at your own risk.

I really miss ExtraTERRORestrial. It was fun and scary. The queue and watching Pricipal Rooney running the company was fun.

It has to be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. My family visited Disney World in 1971 right after it opened (I was 3 yrs old). This is one of the only rides I remember from that trip. (The Haunted Mansion is the other.)

Definitely the Hunchback Musical Spectacular (I'm biased, that's my favorite Disney movie). I'd also love to see Mr. Toad, and Tapestry of Nations back. The old Journey to Imagination looks awesome too, but I'm too young to remember that from more than youtube videos

The original Imagination ride for sure!

And another vote for Horizons. I was also a huge fan of 20KLUtS!!!

While there's a few on your list I wouldn't mind seeing myself...I'll play a little devil's advocate here...

Sometimes Disney's gotta make updates. It wouldn't make sense to keep the old Snow White while adding a new Snow White attraction. Tarzan was a prettty dangerous show for the performers. Maybe some of the attractions had limted appeal, limited capacity, or were aged beyond repair.

Perhaps we should take time to appreciate that unlike nearly all the amusement parks I enjoyed as a kid- which are now gone completely - Disney has managed to retain much of what it had when I was a kid, plus introduced a ton of great new rides, resorts, and dining. They've done a remarkable job of keeping the parks releveant while preserving much of the original charm.

Think for a moment, how stifling it must be to design at WDW, when every little change means lots of fan complaints. Instead of bemoaning Mr.Toad, again, maybe it's time to show praise for the new attractions. Consider all the great additions that have come since Mr.Toad and the Skyway closed!

The Adventurer's Club! Such a fun, laught-out-loud, unique experience. I was so sad to see it go.

Kungaloosh!

Definitely the original Jounery into Imagination. Plus Horizons and World of Motion (but keep TT).

Since my last Disney trip was to Disneyland, my list is a little bit shorter. I got to ride Mister Toad and the Subs, even though they are no long 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I would like to see the original Imagination return. Alien Encounter was good, especially Skippy in the preshow.

I agree with the Adventurers Club. This had such a stron following to. I think it was more about the huge cover price for the whole island. While I love 20,000 leauges my kids and most of those you run into today would go on it once and say it is to lame. We like it because of its nostalgic value. I really miss figment so I am with you there. Never managed to get to Alien Encounter so I would love to see it. It's life was to short. Mr. Toad will always be missed. Now River Country I enjoyed but I think that met its demise more to owing to that wonderful parasite that lurks in so many FL waters.

Mr. Toad, Horizons, and the original Jounery into Imagination, would be my picks.

Magic Kingdom:
-Skyway
-20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
-Snow White's Scary Adventures (I mean, really, why get rid of this prior to the mine train ride opening anyway?)
-Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

Epcot
-Cranium Command! Actually, everything at Wonder of Life. It's just sitting empty. Why? My family and I absolutely loved Cranium Command. Plus, Wonders of Life is where my husband found his very first Hidden Mickey and he was so proud of himself.
-Horizons. Loved that. Hate Mission: Space. But, would be fine with keeping Mission: Space if Horizons were still there. It was like the sequel to Carousel of Progress. Since Walt never wanted that closed, I'm betting he would hate the idea of Horizons getting the ax, as well.
-Would it be possible to get the old Spaceship Earth recording with Walter Cronkite? That was wonderful.
-Dreamfinder needs to be back in Journey into Imagination. The original is preferred, but just bringing him back would be a great step in the right direction.

Disney's Hollywwod Studios
-Superstar Television
-The houses in the Backlot Tour. Backlot Tour is not a good ride, anymore. While it would likely still be on life support even if they added the Golden Girls, Empty Nest, etc. houses back in, we could likely cancel the priest that is currently needed to perform Last Rites.

Just updated the list. Here's what's new with the list:

The moving of Legend of the Lion King to a place in between PotC and Jungle Cruise.

The moving of If You Had Wings to the former spot of Galaxy Palace Theater, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in the old Speedway space.
