Which OKW building do you like - 14 or 43?

We are going for the first time in July. It will be me (42), DH (43), DD 18, DD 14 and my mother, 65. Having never been there, I can't decide on a building to request for our 2 BR. I am aware it is only a request but I like to do what I can to control the important factor of location, location, location! I think I'd like building 14 or 43. I would like a water view for my mother who may spend more time in the room than us because she has back trouble and both of these seem to have this. 14 is closer to the main building of course. I assume it is separated by a large parking lot. I don't know how important it will be except that my kids will probably want to swim there once. I don't think we'll eat there. We may get a mug while there though. Can you only get soft drinks and coffee in those? The bad part of 14 would possibly be that the busses would be full by the time they got to there because I've read it is the last stop. Bldg. 43 seems like it would be calmer yet close to a bus stop (which is important to me) and pool plus the restaurant that would be open during the day. The bad part of this building would be the distance to the main buildings. We will probably be riding the boat from DTD once but I do think I've read that I could hop on a bus and get to my room. Having never been there I don't know just how spread out this resort is. Can anyone give me any input on the situation? Thanks!

Both are great locations. This may be the deciding factor for you.


Bldg 14, will have one entrance to the master bathroom - through the master bedroom.

Bldg 43 will have two entrances, through the master bedroom and through the laundry room. So if anyone is sleeping on the the sleeper sofa, this will give those in the master bedroom more privacy.

I would request 43 since it's got the extra entrance to the bathroom and it's near Turtle Pond, which is our favorite area. If you want a better chance of water view, it would be best to make that your request instead of a particular building. We usually only request "water view" and have always gotten it at various locations around the complex.

I always thought that 14 looks too close to the main road in and out of the resort, especially bus noise.
