I was wondering who you used for the officiant for your wedding and your comments of what you thought of them

We will be using Reverend Day and I for one cannot wait to meet him! I will tell ya all about it when I get back. :)

Rev. Day is such a great man! I contacted him pretty early on in my planning and he sent me some sample ceremonies and told me I could delete, add, combine, or just write something else (with his help, if I needed it). I read through them and talked with him over the phone and knew that he was the person I wanted to marry us. I ran into him at our PS about six months before the wedding and he remembered my name and said "this must be Chad" (how could he remember all of those names????) He came to our rehearsal--which was really fun and he played around but made us feel comfortable about the upcoming day. He got there early and was sitting there talking to my dad when I arrived with every one else. The day of the wedding he made me feel like such a princess and did a terrific job. All of our guests thought he was amazing and was really heart felt in his delivery.

Sorry this was so long....HTH!

We also used Rev. Jack Day and were very pleased with him. We wanted a religious service, and he was great in accommodating us with that. He has lots of types of ceremonies to fit everyone’s needs. :)

Rev. Day was not available on the date we needed...so we are using Rev. Kevin. So far he's been wonderful! The packet he sent out helped me write my own vows (which I was not plannign to do). There were lots of great options for ceremonies and "special touches"...I'll have to let you know how he does "under pressure" after our wedding in September! :)

We're using Rev Day for our wedding next month. (OMG, I can say that now!!!!)

Rev Kevin did our wedding and he was great! He really made my husband and I feel comfortable, he's very warm and personable and seemed to care about us as a couple.

We used Rev. Jack Day and we LOVED him!!!!!!!! He was great in so many ways! Everyone in the bridal party and our parents fell in love with him during our rehearsal!

We have a good while yet, and of course policy can change, but does anyone know if I can bring my own officiant. I have a wonderful friend who I want to do my vow renewal. He would be part of my entourage for the occasion anyway.

we had rev.tim...he was a sweet man. the only thing that went wrong was he was late to our ceremony and he forgot to send in our license to be noterized. other than that everything was great.

We just met Rev. Jack Day last week...and I wanted to take him home with us! He is the nicest man!!! Our ceremony was wonderful and he is the reason why!

I was curious as to when everyone booked their officiant? I have a year to go is it too early? Also, did you book the rehearsal at the same time?

If you know who you want I would book them. I'm not sure about rehearsals since I just had an intimate.

We just sent in our contract with Rev. Randal Miller -- I spoke with him on the phone on Monday & had a really good feeling about him. I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting him in September when we are down for our planning visit.

We have booked Rev Jack Day for our wedding in just over 4 months time :flower: He seems such a lovely guy...cant wait :cloud9:

Although i got married nearly six years ago at WDW, its great to hear that Rev. Tim is still performing the ceremonies there, he was the nicest person, and really made us feel at ease.
I just hope he's still there in four years when we renew our vows!
