I just want to clarify this. When buy an airline ticket for TSA precheck I enter in my Known Traveler Number, right?

Yes, you will use you KTN. If you have a frequent flier account with an airline there should be a space in you profile where you can enter it. That way it should auto populate anytime you make a reservation.

If on the off chance that you misplace your KTN the UE ID (Universal Enroll ID) can be used to look it up.
