We are staying LVC Poly 7-5 thru 7-9. Would you plan for 'Ohana's the first night, last night, in between? Any suggestions and reasons why would be greatly appreciated.

It really depends on what you want. We always eat our first night at Chef Mickey's regardless of where we stay, it just gets us in the Disney mood!!! Our last night, we usually like a relaxing night around our resort, so we have time to pack, so for me that would be the perfect night. If you're getting in near dinner time on your first night, might be a good night to hang at the resort. Maybe an early or late dinner at Ohana with the pool thrown in for good measure. I wouldn't do it in the middle of your stay, since it's so short. I'd do it the first or last night, with a leaning towards the last night for a nice relaxing last night at the Poly. Maybe an early PS, and the swimming in the Volcano pool watching Wishes!!

We're only staying at Poly for four nights but we're moving over from YC. Just can't seem to stay away from there. So we'll already be on property. Thinking of doing Luau too but just can't seem to decide on when to do what.

Since you're moving from YC, I'd definately do the last night for Ohana. It is a really fun time and would be a GREAT way to wrap up your trip. Personally, I'd stay away from the luau. It's a waste of money IMO, the food is really sub-par and the entertainment is only somewhat authentic at best.

We tried Ohanas for the first time on our trip in October, and I can't believe we had never done it before!!! It was for our first night, and after, we went down to the beach for the fireworks!! What a great way to start the vacation!!

This year, our first night is July 2 - and we'll be back at Ohanas!! Can't wait!!

Does O'Hana's have a childrens menu? IF so, what is on it? My kids like grilled cheese, chicken fingers, pizza, hamburgers. Are these available? Jay

Ohana serves the same food for adults and children usually. If you ask your server they usually can get something off the kids menu from Kona Cafe and they do have those types of food.

Thanks for all your replies!! I think I'll go with the suggestion to do 'Ohana on the last night. Good way to wrap up. Thanks!!
