I am currently planning DD first disney trip. We're coming from Oz before she is 2 so she is free!

Which month would be better to travel, early Dec or Feb? Budget and crowds are the big considerations.

In dec she will be 19ths and Feb 22mths. Will she enjoy it more a little older?

In my opinion I would go in December. I have been to Disney at the beginning of both months and I prefer December. I enjoy the Christmas decorations up at the resorts and parks. We also had much better weather when we went in December. As far as age goes what is a few months, I think it will be enjoyed either way.

Weather for both months can be iffy. I'd go the beginning of December though because the parks are decorated for Christmas. Just be sure to pack for both warm and cold weather. Last time we were there the first week of December it was really nice for the first part of the week (shorts, t-shirts, able to swim) and then a cold front came in for the second part of the week with rain so we were in raingear with jeans, long sleeve shirts, fleece jackets, and rain boots.

I also recommend december. In fairness i haven't been in Feb. BUT i LOVE the first 2 weeks in december. The decorations are out & the crowds are low (first week of dec).
Will she enjoy it more at 19th months vs 22 months? No because at such a young age, little ones are just so excited to experience EVERYTHING in life. At such a young age, the trip is about you enjoying her observations & taking in life. Many people have said their 2 year old found the most enjoyment in the simple things at disney- like the dancing fountains in epcot.
