Which Moderate do you like best and why? Also is there one that's more suitable for young children (6 and 3)?

Thanks

If you don't want to pay for a preferred room, with kids that small I would probably go with POFQ. CBR is my favorite, but it can involve a good bit of walking.

comparison but can give my opinion on 1, POFQ. We stayed there with an (almost) 4 and (almost) 8 year old. The resort is small as mentioned above. We were at the far end of bldg 4 and the walk to the pool, food court and bus stops were reasonable short. The pool worked well for both kids. The (almost) 4 year old was able to use the slide (not too scary) without a vest.

I can see why people like POFQ for little ones as the pool is really themed toward them HOWEVER I prefer CSR for the little set. The playgroung is soo much better and it sits right off the Pool Area. The pool area also has a great kids pool with water jets which is really cool. The pool area also has a snack bar where you can get a real lunch. I find the theming at CSR to be wonderful and it offers plenty of room for the kids to blow off steam. My DD "healyed" around the lake several times after we arrived to work off the excess energy caused by sitting in the car for the drive up -- she thought that was great. I also like CSR for the food court which offers more variety than any of the other resorts. Even if the kids are picky eaters I guarantee you can find something they will eat -- we did.

I also like that the busses don't share with any other resort so the trips aren't as long. There's nothing worse than heading off to MK from POFQ only to have to stop at all the stops at POR before making the trek to MK (or any other resort for that matter). Also, even though it appears that CSR is farthest away, if you look at a map you will see that it is the most centrally located of any of the mods and therefore averages the shortest ride times.

I've stayed at all the mods but CSR still wins for me.
Just my humble opinion.

I think POFQ is the best bet for young children. The pool is great, and everything is so close together that it won't tire out little legs.

i'm going to agree with the previous poster and say that CSR is a great resort. they have a dig site which is near the main pool and the overall theming of the resort is great. bus waits are not long, they aren't shared with other resorts so you don't have to worry about going from resort to resort to get to/from the parks. also, if you have picky eaters, the food court has a large variety of foods to choose from so you'll be able to find something for everyone!!

Definitely CSR!! Great main pool and slide, awesome transportation (not shared), and terrific food options (especially if on the DDP). Check out my website below for pics and info.

My kids loved CBR. They were 6 and 8 at the time. You can check out my pictures below. I think young kids would like a resort with more of an obvious theme like CBR than POR.

which mod would you suggest for two adults that have walking disabilities, but don't need wheelchairs. Thanks in advance

The obvious answer is POFQ as that resort is so compact. However, there is no table service restaurant at FQ so you have to go either to POR or another resort. As an adult I like being waited on at least part of the time. If this isn't an issue with you POFQ is a good choice. I would also recommend CSR. Even though it is a really large resort there is internal transportation that will take you to the pool or main building. Also, if you request a room in the Casitas bldgs 1 though 4 (the most beautiful section of the all the mods especially at night) you are very close to the main building. Just let them know when you make the reservation and when you check in that you have mobility problems and they will do everything they can to honor your request.

I've been to three of the four mods and love CSR. I have two kids similar in age to yours and the shared transportation at POR/POFQ is no picnic. Even though the size of POFQ is small, it isn't worth the cattle call fighting to load the buses from the parks back to the resort. If you are planning on using strollers, I would seriously suggest CSR because the buses were always empty in comparison to PO buses.

POFQ is the best b/c the food is really good, the pool is cool, the design of the resort is really well done and cool looking, and it is the most relaxing resort in WDW IMO.

I like CSR for the pool at the registration/Pepper Market area. It's very beautiful.

CSR is our favorite. Great pool for the kids, great food for the family, great lounges and grounds for the adults! :thumbsup2

We also think it has the best bus service of the MODS.

Thanks very much everyone, looks like POFQ and CSR are the most popular. Will look into both in more detail. Thanks :)
