I've actually stayed at Coronado, POR and Caribbean Beach on trips past and liked them all for different reasons. I'm just curious if anyone prefers one over the other when traveling with a toddler. We have a 2.5 year old and will most likely rent a car.

Port Orleans French Quarter is really nice since its the most compact of the moderate resorts. The pool slide is the smallest and I want to say they let kids come down that slide with an adult or a life vest (not completely sure but I seem to recall that being mentioned on the dis). Its also picked up and dropped off first when it shares busses with POR.

All that said, since you are renting a car and know how spread out the other mods are based on your other stays, any one of those is great!

I love all the mods but do think the small size of POFQ is nice with younger kids. Once your son is older, then it will seem too small for him which is why we don't stay there anymore, our kids like the bigger mods that have more pools and recreation (bikes, fishing etc).
