Which Moderate should I choose?

Aside from POFQ, which of the other 3 resorts have the best bus service? Both walking distance to the bus stops and how quick the busses can get you to the parks.

They recently added extra buses to POR during the morning and evening peak times. They are splitting up the pick up, at least in the morning, so that south had one bus, and the other 3 get a different bus. That might help some. I don't know if this is just for the busy holiday time or a more permanent thing. They have also added an internal bus that goes between the two.

CSR is my favorite of the moderates. I have now stayed there twice, including my honeymoon, and had a great stay each time. We really liked that it is the only moderate with a fitness center and lap lines pointed in one of the quite pools.

We are MOD fanatics, we absolutely can find things to love about all of them! We just got back from an AMAZING split stay between The Cabins at FW, which were awesome and my kids LOVE LOVE LOVED the resort space and pool and activities BUTTTTTTTT you definitely need a golf cart the entire time and we were SO GLAD the kids packed their scooters! The other half of our stay was at CSR in a Casitas Executive Suite and that was by far our most favorite resort. NOT just because of the suite (we have stayed in other rooms there too), but because the resort is so beautiful, the food court is amazing and the restaurants were awesome too. We cannot say enough about the staff there and the pool is our favorite on property next to Stormalong Bay!

We are at the Contemporary next year because we were not thrilled with the concierge type lounge at CSR and because we wanted a monorail stay this time around but we would DEFINITELY do CSR any other time!

I am a huge fan of CBR. I have never had any issues with the bussing from there - but they can happen anywhere (my worst ever was at POP - absolutely horrendous). I love the themeing and the overall relaxed feel.

I stayed at CSR once several years ago and got stuck in the Casitas and felt like I was at any old convention hotel. Just not a good stay, and while the pictures of the new rooms are lovely and *almost* enough to make me change from AKL for my August trip, my brain cannot get past the ick factor of that trip.

POR, we stayed at once in the mansions and I felt like I was stuck at my grandmother's house - not a good thing in my case. And the Bayou rooms just feel junky to me. And I am one of the weird people who feels no attraction to or affinity for New Orleans, so POFQ is

So for me when I am staying at a mod it is always CBR.

That is definitely the rumor, and the fact that they are not available after a certain date makes it seem like it is the case.

My daughter (8) absolutely loved the pool at CSR! We stayed there for a few days after a month long road trip back in 2014, and since then we've returned twice. It's not my favorite of the moderates (I think I'm a POFQ girl), but my kiddo loves it. Enjoy!!

CSR is starting a hard goods rehab this month, but will close one building at a time for the work, it will not impact other buildings or areas. All rooms have queen beds. You might see conventioneers around the resort at times, but they tend to be in meetings all day so don't impact the pool or park busses much. Can see them mostly in the restaurants and bars in the evenings. CSR is our favorite resort!

Can anyone expand on this? I am trying to book CSR for early June (it is still December now) and cannot even get it to come up as a choice. Are they closing multiple buildings for rehab??? All this CSR talk really makes me want to try it.

Let me ask you "experts" about CSR for my sister and me. We would be using the buses, and would be going in January, so no pool is required. I might even be interested in the added business class. Someone mentioned it might be discounted as well? I had been considering POFQ due to the size of it. Now I'm thinking I should check into CSR.

I think CSR would be a good choice. I would also price out the WL. It has construction going on but it is a great compact resort with lots of good food options. We have always been lucky to catch a good discount to keep the price down.
