Which Moderate Resort?

We are planning a trip to DW in November and have decided to try a moderate resort. I've never been to any of them, and they all look so nice in the catalog. Is there one that you would recommend over the others? We will be spending the majority of our time at MK so I would prefer the closest one, if possible, to that park.

I would have to pick Port Orleans French Quarter.

I've never stayed there.. but it really does sound like the best..

~ Its the smallest
~ Renovations completed
~ Centeralized location
~ Transportations other than just buses are offered
~ Looks beautiful
~ I've heard many say that POFQ and POR are very much like deluxe resorts

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. It all comes down to the theming that you like best. Our family prefers CBR. The rooms were redone in late 2002. They are the largest rooms in the moderates.

I don't think it is far to MK from any of the moderate resorts.

I have to go with Port Orleans Riverside. Been there twice & loved it!!! POFQ looks good too. Let us know what you decide.

Our family loves the CSR. We love the themeing and we feel the bus service to the parks is best from this resort.

We also wanted a moderate for our next trip, and I had a hard time choosing! We ultimately chose CBR because we wanted that tropical feel, with CSR being my second choice. Why don't you look at the resort FAQ's that are right here on the resort board - they may help you decide!

We have stayed at all of the moderates and lean towards the Coronado Springs resort as our first choice, then the Caribbean Beach resort.

We love the Pepper Market food court at CSR, and the kids really like the pool area. I think it's the first resort the really remember staying at so it has sentimental value to them.

You can't o wrong with any of them!!

Port Orleans French Quarter wins hands down. They were just renovated...POR rooms are in the process of renovation section by section, and they need it. We loved the French Quarter feel. Plus at these two resorts you can take the boat to Downtown Disney, which is a major treat!

DH and I love CBR. The theming is so colorful and the landscaping is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay there. My sister and I are considering staying at POFQ for our Christmas trip. We have heard wonderful things about it.
