which moderate resort has the best pool

I have three kids 7,9, & 11 and the pool is the most important thing. The best water slide. Help me fellow disers pick my resort.

Coronado Springs! It has a fabulous pool and the longest slide of any of the Mods. The slide is super fun - my husband and I enjoyed it too!

Depends on the kid. My youngest was 5 on our last stay at CSR and he loved the slide, but he's a "no fear" kind of kid. I think most 7-yr-olds would like the CSR slide over the POFQ one.

About 4 feet, I think. It was deeper than my youngest son is tall, but we borrowed one of the life vests they have available for kids and it was not an issue.

One thing: all riders must go down the slide alone. You can't go with your child. We would typically split up so one parent would go first, then one would go last, so someone was always waiting near the bottom of the slide for our youngest.

Ditto....And the pool is HUGE. It has lots of seating, a great poolside CS called Siestas for food and drinks, a nice playground, and really large, clean bathrooms. They also have fun poolside games in the afternoon for the kiddos.

My vote is CSR for sure!! Great pool, the kids liked the resort better than CBR. The beds are more comfy, plus the hot tub for us is right next to the pool! And if you are on dining plan, the counter service meals at CSR are great, real and fresh food instead of burgers, etc.

I go to WDW several times a year and normally stay at a moderate. I agree with everyone else that CSR definitely has the best pool among the moderates by a landslide. PORS would probably rank second, then POFQ. CBR has a really nice looking main pool, but it's way too small for that size resort. I have never seen it when it wasn't jammed packed.

Off topic, but CSR also has the biggest hot tub on property.

Another CSR vote!! THe pool is so big, it never really seems crowded. I love the poolside bar/counter. The hot tub is great too.

I agree with everyone else CSR. I have booked 2 nights there on our upcoming trip just for the pool. I like it better than the BC pool. We normally only stay deluxe, but I will make an exception with CSR. That's how much we enjoy the pool.

I don't mean to hijack, but this brings up a question. I had considered Coronado Springs, but everything I read said it's a conference hotel and when conferences are in session, the pool is packed, and the atmosphere isn't as family friendly. Can anyone weigh in on that, because that's the reason I crossed Coronado Springs off of my list.
