Which has the largest lake? (The most distance in which to boat around) Also, 12 year olds can still drive the water mice from the moderate resort marinas, correct? (I know it the age requirement changed at the deluxe marinas) Thanks!

View pics of CSR's marina on my website below along with pricing and activities.

Any one of the MK resorts, WL/FW/CR/GF/Poly. You can go on both lakes near the MK.

The lake at CBR is great for boating. The prices and the different types of boats are listed in the first post on the CBR FAQ II thread listed below.

Not sure if it's the largest but at POR you can cruise down to POFQ, Downtown Disney, passing Saratoga Springs, and even over to OKW. This route will also take you past the old tree house villas. :flower:

We took a water mouse from Port Orleans Riverside and had a great time. You can go down the sassagoula, past POFQ, the old tree houses, old key west and all the way to downtown disney. I loved doing that. I think we rented the boat for half an hour and we got to downtown disney and back. They had told us it would take longer but it was fine.

That said, I do think that the best marinas are on the seven seas lagoon because you can go around through bay lake and by the MK. Plus, we were told the little water mouse boats are set to be able to go faster there. I have rented water mouse boats at the GF and Poly. I liked the GF better - but really there is no difference.

Thanks everyone! We have rented water mice many, many times at the Seven Seas Lagoon. The problem is 12 year olds used to be able to drive the boats rented there but now you must have a driver's license (16 years old) to drive the boats from the deluxe resort marinas. I have heard that 12 year olds could still drive the boats at the moderate resort lakes. We have rented a pontoon from the POR marina and taken it to DD. I wasn't sure if 12 year olds would be allowed to operate water mice rented from the POR marina since there are mass transportation boats used there to shuttle folks back and forth between POR and DD. Does anyone know for sure? I have a couple of young, unlicensed teens who would like to be able to drive the speed boats the way their older brothers did at their age. :wave2:

I would say CBR has the largest lake for boating.

All the MK resorts are deluxes and the OP was asking about the Mods.

Does anyone know of PO-R has a "family plan" for boats/bikes? I know that the WL used to offer a plan like that (at least they did in July 2004).

Thanks!
