Hi...

Starting to "think" disney again. We decided to plan a trip for summer 2015 -

We've been 2x and plan to stay at a moderate resort again.

We've been to Carribean Beach and Coronado Springs. We all liked Coronado better - we all loved the slide.

Which resort do you think has the best slide?

overall which was your favorite "moderate" resort?

Overall I like Coronado Springs Resort the best, followed by French Quarter. French Quarter does not have a big slide, though, but I like that you don't have a long walk from anywhere in the resort. However, I think Coronado Springs amenities beats all the other moderates.

For teenagers? I'd say Coronado Springs. Among the moderates, the slide is longest, the pool is the largest, and they have the largest hot tub.

If you want to try a new-to-you moderate, I'd say Port Orleans Riverside. I like how relaxing it is, and I don't feel like the walk from anywhere is particularly daunting since there are several bridges.

I would go with CSR. I think the pool is the best for teens, plus there is beach volleyball and plenty of room for teens to exercise some freedom and still be close by.

My 13 year old and my friend and her 13 year old stayed at Port Orleans Riverside- it was great because the teens could just hop on the boat and go over to the marketplace on their own!

DS17's favorite mod has been CSR.

I would go with either CSR for the recreation options. Our family loves CSR. A close second (or maybe first depending on the likes of the kids) is POR for the boat to DTD and Quest.

I've stayed at both CSR and POFQ, and have also visited the other moderates. To me, CSR is in a league above the other moderates. The pool is on par with the deluxe resorts and is better in some cases, it has a gym, and the rooms are nicer. We've stayed multiple times, and we always enjoy going back. I enjoy the hammocks, the beautiful walk around the lake, the festive yet tasteful atmosphere, the helpful and friendly staff (at least this has been the case on my visits), and the gelato at Rix's is also awesome.

Have fun wherever you decide :)
