If I were to chose a moderate to visit at Christmas (which we may have to do if Disney changes how they book room rates), I would pick POFQ.

We did CBR one Christmas. It was done up very nicely as well. I believe that any resort at Disney is done up well. WDW knows how to make the holidays special.

CSR!! It's great anytime of year but better at x-mas with all the decorations.

One year we ranked the Christmas decorations at the moderates and the deluxes...

Moderates (best to not as fabulous)
Coronado Springs Resort -- love the color choices (cream and corals) & all the poinsettias (creams, coral-pinks)
Port Orleans Riverside -- very traditional, lots of red poinsettias around the grounds too
Port Orleans French Quarter -- very NOLA FQ colors, purples, greens, golds; some mardi gras masks thrown in for flavor
Caribbean Beach Resort -- just don't remember many details

Deluxes (top 3)
Boardwalk -- love love love the richness of their swags w/ all the glass ornaments
Grand Floridian -- not my taste but it is indeed very grand
Animal Kingdom Lodge -- it's different & very appealing to us

CSR!! Plus it has a great pool, no shared transportation and awesome food options!

CBR is beautiful at Christmas.
