Which Moderate has the most exciting

POFQ - alligators, serpent tongue slide, fountains - for younger children aged 9 and under.:stitch:

CSR - large pool with a 123' open silde, a jaguar spits water on you as you descend on the slide - for older children and teens.:goofy:

CSR has the best mod pool/slide combo. The main pool area also has an arcade, playground, hot tub, kiddie pool, sand volley ball area, bar and snack bar. DDP can be used at the snack bar.

I think that the CBR will have an awesome pool when the rehab is finished in Sept. It will have a pirate ship theme and a bucket that spills water.

I think CBR will be a great pool when it reopens in Sept. I got to see the plans yesterday. The kids area is going to be great with the pirate theme.

Here's a vote for the POR. My daughter, who is 6, loved that slide! It was just wild enough to get her "excited", but not too wild that she couldn't go down.

POR would be my first choice, but CSR comes in a close second. If the children are really young, then POFQ, but older children would prefer the other two. Ole man's island is awesome at POR!!!

Thanks for your responses-

My kids are 12 and 6 - I had thought it wasn't a huge difference between the value |(where we are booked) and the moderate- and for our last two nights when we return to Disney I may look at a moderate for the better pool (as we scratched water parks from our itinerary)- but it looks like it would be substantially more- which it isn't worth for the few hours of pool time we will get-

Jen

How about the values- which has the most exciting pool area? Do any have slides and/or play areas in pool-? Thanks,Jen

In my opinion definitely POFQ, if you're renting a car you can drive to ANY resort or park without having to pay for parking. Also if you're not staying at POFQ the atmosphere is a lot of fun to walk through the first time you see it.

The only time we were asked why were were going to a resort that wasn't our own was when we went to the Boardwalk, and we told them we were going to the bakery for a sugar fix, (which i recommend) and they said welcome home and moved us along.

also keep in mind that using a pool at another resort is not technically "allowed"

No slides at the values but I just wanted to tell you that DD loved the Three Caballeros (excuse my spelling) shooting water at the ASMu pool.

My two 11 yr old boys loved the AS Movies resort main pool. It was very big, and has Sorcerer Mickey shooting water fountains.

Excellent- at this point we are booked into AS Movies for those last two nights- Jen:goodvibes

My kids like the water fountains at the values also. It kind of makes up for not having slides.

Except that the pool at Pop was kind of weak, IMO. there is a water fountain play area, but it didn't seem that exciting to us. the kiddie pool was kind of cute and the rest of the resort is nice. I think the pools at ASMu and ASMo were better. I never made it over AMS pool.

I couldn't find a picture of the slide at POR. Does anyone have one?

thanks-
Heather
