Which Mod would you choose and why....

My family is trying to decide which mod resort we would like to stay at. We are getting 2 rooms (for 6 adults, 1 infant - 3 adults in each room). Our dates of travel are Jan. 2nd - Jan. 6th. We are staying from 12/26-1/2 at OKW in a 2-bedroom, and decided to stay an extra few days at a mod resort.

So...which one would you choose? And why???? Best decorations? Most convienient? Best rooms? Can't wait to hear!!!

ETA: We are leaning toward POR in a standard room. Is there an area we should ask for?

We have stayed at POR (when it was Dixie Landings) and at CSR. Both are about the same room wise as best I can remember. Both were nice and good decorations at both. I really like the Pepper Market food court at CSR, I think it's the best resort CS at WDW. I guess that's the only difference to me, although CSR is pretty spread out.

Well, that should make your decision easier huh?

Sorry I wasn't much help, but I think either of those are great choices.

January in New Hamphire is pretty cold so I would want to go to the most tropical feeling resort. I would stay at the Carribean Beach Resort. Palm trees and a little carribean steel drum music would be a nice thing to come back to at the end of an afternoon. I have stayed at POR and loved it but Carribean would be my first choice.

Stayed twice at POR, loved the atmosphere, food court, pool, spa and boat to DTD. I would recommend staying there if you haven't before.

I think POFQ is the most compact and easiest to get around. But I really like the theming of POR and that would be my choice for winter.

CSR!! Better pool, better transportation that is not shared and great food options.

Another vote for CSR.We just got back from our trip last week.

Great theme, hospitality, food at the PepperMarket, doesn't share bus transportation with other resorts , pools are great too.

I would choose CSR for most of the adults because of the Pepper Market and the pool. I would choose POFQ for the people who have the baby (you, I assume) because it is very compact. I would skip CBR as I consider it OKW's "little cousin" in theming. I have never stayed at POR, but the theme is nice but you run the risk of being a long way from the food court.

Taking a look at your dates and a quick Expedia search you may have to take whatever is available! There are no moderates available at all. Of course, Disney may have availability not shown on Expedia.
