Which mod to stay at...

We have ressies for Pop Nov 28 to Dec 4, but with the new BAT code out we can stay at the Moderates for the same price as my original reservation at POP. So where to stay??? Kids are 5 & 8, so I think Coronado is out. What about the other ones? Is part of Port Orleans closed for remodel? I would like to stay at the Riverside section, would the kids like it? IS CB really as spread out as they say?

We are in the process of buying a new house or I'd be able to talk DH into WL. Maybe next time...

Coronado is fun and they have a great pool. My son who was 4? at the time loved the water slide and the dig site.

I personally am not a big fan of caribbean but not because it is spread out. Honestly I don't mind walking and don't take that as a factor but I just didn't like it all that well for some reason. The pool is quite small but it was under refurb when we were there so we never got to actually use it.

We stayed at Riverside this last year and that was nice. The pool was nice too and they had a waterslide but is more "country" like setting.

Also does that BAT code apply to any of the values? Because if it does you can stay for like, what 55 a night I think I read? So if there is any avail for that code, that is an option too.

I think the kids would love Riverside. At that age, my kids deemed it their favorite resort. In fact, after we stayed at the Poly on one trip, they both wanted to go back to Riverside. My kids always enjoyed having the river running through the resort, all the trees, the little ponds dotted around, and they of course loved the pool.

Now we almost always stay at AKL, because none of us have any desire to stay anywhere else again. We have been very spoiled by AKL!
