which mist fan is the best?

I know that several of us will need help dealing with the heat in Sept.

What has your experience been with the mist fans ?

i'm not an expert but I've been reading all the 'misty mate' threads and 'how to beat the heat' threads.

I now have a 16 oz Purple Misty Mate for our August trip. I bought it on Ebay for $18 total. It requires no batteries. You pump it about 15 times and then it lasts about 2 - 3 hours. It sprays a fine mist. You can hang in on a stroller or strap it to something else.

I saw similar ones at Walmart. Near the fans. It was much smaller though and had no strap but I'll be it was nice and cheap.

I also bought a LIME GREEN mister with a fan but that will take batteries. That was $7.99 at Linens and Things.

I'll let you know after my August trip which was better!
