We've been to WDW about 15 times but never to either of the mini golf places. Which one is more fun? Which do you think a 6 and 9 year old would like better? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Kathy :earsgirl:

DD (8) liked Winter summerland better. It seemed an easier course, and it had more of the "goofy" things to play around. It also seemed a bit cooler over there as there seems to be more shade.

I have only been to one Winter/Summerland but we had a blast. My DS was 12 at the time and loved mini golf so after going to BB for the morning spent a few hours enjoying mini golf- no one was there in the middle of the day so it was perfect. I don't know anything about the other one though. Have a great trip. ::MickeyMo

I like the Fantasia themed half of Fantasia Gardens, so that one is may favorite. The "real" mini golf half is good too - challenging for a non-golfer like me.

Winter Summerland definitely seems easier to me too, but still fun because the theme is really cute - especially the summer side.

The kids might like Winter Summerland better, but I think they'd like Fantasia Gardens too. I know my then-9 yr old stepson did.

The fairways course at Fantasia Gardens is awesome. Last trip, I had the lowest score of the day, twice. :rolleyes1

I prefer the Fantasia Gardens courses. We ended up watching and hearing the finale for Fantasmic last time. It's closer than you think. Also the same with RoE, it was a bonus while golfing. My kids are 14 and 12, wintersummerland was better a few years ago for them. Doing it at night seemed to make it more special.

I have to say that both Disney minigolfs were a bit disappointing for us. We prefer the ones on the 192 - they are better themed and much more interesting - sorry but its just an opinion!

Winter/Summerland are "easier" , but I like the Fantasia course better.
And in the spirit of what edenlee said, there is a Pirates Cove course right across from The Disney Crossroads shopping area that is nice.
Frankly, given all the property they have and all the possible themes, Disney could do better with miniature golf.

We like the Winter Summerland courses better but will play any of them if we are closer to one and not the other.

We had a ball at the Winter part of Winter/Summerland.

can you get to winter/summerland by disney bus...or at least in the vincinity?
