I'm thinking about going to my first Disney party and since Halloween is my favorite of the holidays that would be a good one. I have a trip planned for 9/29-10/1 and there is a party that Friday (9/29) and Sunday (10/1)

Between those two dates which is better to attend? Since the Friday one is the last one in September is this less crowded than the first one in October? I would either take Friday or Monday off from work and change my dates slightly to accommodate the party. Since I live in south Florida this isn't a big issue.

Are the parties the exact same on all the nights? I notice the price goes up closer to actual Halloween, is that just because it's more popular or they do more things?

What would you do? It'll be close to $200 for two people, is it worth the cost or should we just skip it entirely and just focus on Food and Wine? Right now have a Beach Club hotel room, but would probably change to a Magic Kingdom hotel if we do the party.

IMO, there won't be much difference between the two dates. They will be the same parties, and the only reason it gets more expensive closer to Halloween is just because of the higher demand for tickets. Sunday may be slightly less busy because local people who attend are more inclined to go on a Friday or Saturday, but I doubt crowd difference will be noticeable.

Whether it's worth it is subjective. DH and I, no kids, have been twice. We've enjoyed it and it's fun to do at least once but we are choosing to skip it on our September trip this year.

Thanks! If there isn't much of a crowd difference we will probably pick the Friday just because that's an easier day to take off. It'll be just me and my boyfriend so it's good to hear that people do go without kids and liked it :)
