Chef Mickey's? Or Liberty Tree Tavern? Is there more? My girls have recently fallen in love with Mickey since they saw The Three Musketeers that just came out! Thanks!
Steph

Chef Mickey's is a buffet and you go get your food while LTT is served family style. They celebrate birthdays each hour--you can request to sit in Mickey's section. They have decorate your own cupcakes as well.

I like both--but there is more variety of food at CM and the girls might enjoy the festivities more,.

Show up about 20 minutes early for your PS or you could encounter a line of standby's that you will have to wait in just to sign in for your PS. BUT, you'll get seated before they do :)

I vote for Chef Mickey's. I didn't really care for the food at Liberty Tree. Chef Mickey's is a lot of fun and the character interaction is wonderful. We had the most fabulous waitress there who took a great family shot of us that we used in our Christmas card. She was even kind enough to take footage of my DS blowing out the candle on his cupcake. Enjoy!

Funny....you happen to name our family's two favorite restaurants! But....Chef Mickey's for breakfast (never tried it for dinner...have gotten very mixed reviews. We love it for breakfast though.)
As for Liberty Tree....cannot go wrong....fabulous atmosphere...a never miss restaurant for us.
Two very different restaurants....two very different atmospheres....but two classics! Maybe you can ask your daughters which they'd prefer to settle the dispute...a breakfast with Mick or dinner with Mick!
(By the way, we watched Three Musketeers last night and we all enjoyed it!)
Have fun whatever you choose!

Mickey isn't at LTT is he? I thought it was just Minnie, Chip, Dale, Meeko and.....Pluto (?)???

I was going to say the same thing--but couldn't remember--I know they have either Mickey or Minnie, but not both. Ask when making PS as they will know for sure.

We have eaten at Liberty Tree every year for our last 4 trips - Mickey has never been there. That being said - it is still one of our favorite character meals at WDW. We eat here every trip - it's become a tradition.

We have found that we enjoy Chef Mickey's for breakfast more than dinner. Less hectic & more time can be spent with the characters. I think most children love it anytime, though. ;)

If they really have their hearts set on Mickey - he is at Chef Mickey's for B & D, Garden Grill for L & D, Donald's Breakfastosaurus for B, and 'Ohanna's for B. HTH! :)

The confirmation of Minnie at LTT, leads me to say that if you kids will be disappointed if they find that Mickey isn't there, then Chef Mickey's might be a better bet.

I enjoyed dinner--but some posters suggest that breakfast is better, so perhaps a way to start your trip before you hit the parks! (Saves money too as it won't cost as much--and hey--maybe even LTT for dinner--of course, that will be bunches of bucks to do to CMs in one day).

Garden Grill is yummy and the restaurant rotates--pretty much makes a full rotation (very very very slow) during your meal.

Mickey at Garden Grill is fantastic. He spends a lot of time with the kids. That's in Epcot.

But if you don't want to go to a park, you can also see Mickey at the character breakfast at 'Ohana. He's wearing a Hawiian shirt!

We just ate at LTT last week and Mickey was not there!:( However, both Mickey and Minnie are always at Chef Mickeys! I definitely prefer the food and atmosphere of Chef Mickeys!

Garden grill in EPCOT good food mickey is there also hope the girls have a good time

Liberty Tree Tavern is not a meal featuring Mickey--- it features Minnie and usuallly Pluto, Chip and Dale and Goofy join her. You can dine w/ Mickey for breakfast at either Chef Mickey's or 'Ohana, for lunch at Garden Grill at Epcot and for dinner at Chef Mickey's or Garden Grill. At times Mickey may appear at Donalds Breakfastosaurus at the Animal Kingdom, but it is not guaranteed.

Have fun!:)
