Ive been to Mama Melroses but I want to know if I should go to 50's Prime Time or Sci Fi Dine In...We're doing Tony's in MK so we don't want Italian again... Thanks!

Prime Time is good if you like really simple food and a great atmosphere. Honestly have never had a bad meal there. We don't like the Sci-Fi menu, but the atmosphere and service was great. It's alot of fun to go there and sit in the cars.

PTC is the best sit down meal for the money at WDW. And the show is even better. If you like pot roast, they've got the best. And the dessert menu is pure fun. But be sure to eat all your veggies, or your server might feed them to you.

Sci Fi always seems to get a bad rap but it really is a neat place. The atmosphere is like no other restaraunt, and really, the food is just fine if you go in there knowing it's a place for burgers, sandwiches & shakes. I really enjoy their BLT soup with the club sandwich & cucumer melon salad, and of course a big chocolate shake! I'd highly recommend Sci Fi unless you're looking for a high end meal.

I agree 100%!!!

Both the 50's Prime Time Cafe and Sci Fi are two of the Dh's and I's FAVORITE places. 50's is really classic american food like meatloaf, fried chicken, and pot roast. It so much fun to watch your wait staff (aunts and uncles) pick on those around you. They tell you to clean your plate, make sure you keep your elbows off the table, silly little things you'd hear from mom and dad.
Sci-Fi is awesome! You would think a huge place with sky high celings would be so loud but, because all the kids are intently watching the movie its SILENT! The food is really good too. I would also recomend the BLT soup, and the shrimp pasta! Im not a fan of ice cream or chocolate so I tend to get shafted a bit but their apple crumble is really good!
Either choice you make you really can't go wrong with either one! I hope you have fun and enjoy where ever you go!:woohoo:

Also, what times do they show fantasmic during easter week? I want to make sure we have enough time to get a seat!

You can check for Fantasmic under Theme Parks link(above).

I love PTC...the food is good and it is a fun place to dine.

Do they really???!!!
I know I'm an adult and should know better but on holidays I do have a tendancy to over order (eyes bigger than my belly etc!!!).
(I'm also quite gullible...!)

50's PT is a "cannot be missed" attraction! :goodvibes We absolutely LOVED it! We went twice during our trip this September. The food is very good but the decor and service... excellent! :thumbsup2

Another vote for Prime Time. Love the atmosphere and the food is really good. Love the meatloaf & chicken pot pie... gonna try the fried chicken next time. :goodvibes

Its true they do. But you can tell its all in good fun. If its really busy they won't spend a bunch of time with the table, but if you happen to get a "really into it waiter" it can be a bunch of fun. The last time I was there, we sat next to a table of 3 adults and one child. Well the child ordered off of the adult menu and ate the ENTIRE plate in front of her and the "aunt" teased the adults around her cause they hadn't cleaned their plates like the child had!

We love PTC too! I don't know if Uncle Charlie still works there, but he's a hoot!

We love the 50's Prime Time, the cutest restaurant on site. The fried chicken is very good and I love the smores dessert even though it is half the size it used to be (but the same price lol)

definitely 50's prime time diner....sci fi dine in is too dark for me

We loved :thumbsup2 Toy Story Pizza Planet for CS, and 50's PT for TS! :goodvibes We actually ended up going to both places twice during our 2007 trip! We will return to both in 2008!

A vote for Sci-Fi for their cheesburger and onion rings!! I'm usually so tired by the time we do this park that to sit and watch the movies in a dark cool environment out of the hot sun is just the ticket for us.

We've always gotten the cheesburgers and they are the best on property IMHO. Against my advice my BIL got a rueben and really liked it. Usually the advice is stick with the cheeseburgers and everything will be great.
