Which Mexican Restaurant would you rather go to in Epcot?

I currently have a reservation at La Hacienda de San Angel but was thinking of changing it to San Angel Inn in the Mexico Pavilion. Not sure which has better food? Any opinions would be appreciated!

I would also like to hear opinions on this as I haven't been to either one!

We trade off--one in the fall and one in the spring. We enjoy both for different reasons--my edge goes to La Hacienda for the Del Mar and La Hacienda dinners for two. Del Mar is my favorite. On the other hand San Angel offers the TIW discount. . .nah, I'm sticking with La Hacienda. :cool1:

I've only been to San Angel and both times it was good. I could make a meal off of the tortilla chips and dip. I definitely want to check out La Hacienda next time I'm there.

We like both. But this trip we are doing San Angel Inn at (adult) DS's request. He enjoys that more.

San Angel Inn. The food was fabulous and you can't beat the atmosphere. Hands down the best meal of our trip!

We LOVE the menu and atmosphere at San Angel Inn- have never tried La Hacienda, maybe next trip :)

So hard to say!

We've eaten at both and loved both of them. The atmosphere at San Angel Inn is far more "Disney" and very unique. I absolutely love the Pollo a la Rajas dish. On the other hand, the grilled Paradilla platter for two was one of the best things I've ever eaten at Disney.

The good news is, I really don't think you can go wrong!

San Angel Inn. We were very disappointed with both service and food the last two times we went to La Hacienda. We were very pleased with San Angel Inn last time we were there. I don't think we will go back to La Hacienda.

We have eaten at San Angel three different trips and my Family has requested it again, it's our favorite Restaurant in all of WDW, we've eaten at Signature restaurants and found the food better at San Angels. It is not Tex-Mex style food, more authentic Mexican food. Looking forward to eating there again in September. I also love the atmosphere: romantic and beautiful. The times we've eaten there we have always had great service so I don't have anything negative about that.

I love the atmosphere at San Angel Inn but my family members and I often have trouble finding entrees we enjoy (due to it being more authentic Mexican food than we are used to). We're planning on trying La Hacienda next time instead.

We like them both but prefer La Hacienda because of the roomier seating.

La Hacienda has far better food. San Angel isn't bad it's just plain and over-priced for what it is. Our favorite dish at La Hacienda is the Del Mar for 2. Amazing seafood!

For years and years San Angel was a must do for us, when my son was little he loved to sit at the rail and wave at the boats to see how many people he could get to wave back. After a while, the food and service seemed to go downhill. First it was the service and we were willing to let that go for the food but when the food started to suffer we jumped ship and started going to La Hacienda. They are two very different restaurants in both food offerings and style. I love "authentic" Mexican food and Tex Mex and have even been known to go to Taco Bell in a pinch so none of that factors in for us. I lived in NM for awhile and in Texas and in both cases had Mexican friends who made the real thing so I know the difference. For atmosphere, you can't beat San Angel, I think it may well be the best themed restaurant in WS but for food and service, I'd go with La Hacienda.

San Angel Inn has great atmosphere and service, but if you know authentic Mexican it may disappoint you. For taste I prefer La Hacienda.

I prefer the food (more authentic and a little more upscale) and the atmosphere (the fake night time weirds me out) at La Hacienda

In 2009, we ate at San Angel and I had the best Disney dessert ever--even better than the bread puddings at Ohana or Raglan Road. It was a white chocolate mousse served inside a crisp fried tortilla shell topped with fresh berries and a superb caramel sauce.

Yes, I know that this was 7 years, but I do see this dish mentioned in reviews sometimes.

So if you choose San Angel and see a white chocolate mousse dessert, don't hesitate to order it. Heaven on a plate!

If it's not on there but you see something with caramel sauce, go for that. It is incredible. :)
