...the disney website shows that the chicken sandwich and fish sandwich are still available while allears shows a combined dinner/lunch menu with these options excluded.

Do you know which is accurate?

The combined menu that allears shows was what was available a couple of weeks ago. We were having lunch and did not care for it, the food offered is way too heavy for the middle of the day heat. No sandwiches are offered, there is still a salad option.

Honestly, while we used to enjoy 50's we have put it on our "not going back until things change" list. Unless, I am mistaken there has been a management/chef change that was not for the better. The service has been lacking and wait time horrendous. Our lunch in Oct. was over 2 1/2 hours long from time of entry to exit.

Thanks for the information. I WILL NOT be booking a reservation here for lunch if they don't have a sandwich option.

Disney is changing many of the park restaurants to "all day" dining menu.
There is now one combined menu at the 50's. I noticed there were no sandwiches as well.

I was wondering the same thing. I booked an early lunch there with the assumption that I'd be getting a chicken sandwich. The other heavier dishes (potroast, meatloaf and fried chicken) are way too heavy for lunch.
