I'm staying for 5 days, 4 nights, so that leaves me 12 Meal Credits, 8 Snacks.

This is what I've booked so far.

Breakfasts

Kona Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Kouzzinna
Boma

Lunches

Liberty Tree Inn
St. Angel Inn
Sci-Fi Drive In
Biergarten Restuarant

Dinners

Ohana
Coral Reef
California Grill
Le Cellier

In total that's 14 meal credits. I'm not going to give up the 2 Signatures, I was thinking that the cheapest OOP choices would be the Kona Cafe and the Biergarten.

Or I could always just skip a breakfast and get a pastry to tide me over?

You'll probably find getting a pastry or something sufficient, but if you decide to keep all that you have, your non-buffet breakfast will always be your cheapest meals to do OOP. I would choose two of those.

I'd cancel a few of those reservations.
For most people, 3 deluxe ts meals in 1 day is too much:
Way too much food and way too much time.
You're talking about spending 5+ hours per day in restaurants. Including traveling to/from restaurants, you could be talking about 8+ hours per day built around dining.
You will find yourself finishing dessert at 1 meal, and starting your appetizer at your next meal just a couple hours later.

The most successful way to do the dxdp for most people, is 2 ts meals per day (with 1 of them being 2-credits).
Then using snack credits to fill any big gaps.
Snack credits can easily make a meal -- especially breakfast. A pastry, a bagel, etc.

Not to sound like a downer, but I agree.

We did 3 meals a day one trip and it felt the whole time we were running to a restaurant.

Sci Fi isn't too expensive I don't think

I have made ADR's for about half of our stay, and was wondering if i should reserve something for each day. I just dont want to feel like we are on a schedule the whole time...after all it is a vacation. Can you get seating at some resturants by just walking in?? Thanks in advanced for any advice anyone may have.

First thing I'd cut out is San Angel Inn. Not that good. Then I'd probably axe the Whispering canyon breakfast.

I don't know, I'm a sucker for Mexican food. What does upset me is the San Angel Inn did get rid of the queso fundido and now you can only get that at La Hacienda which is another signature dining....

I wouldn't count on just walking in, unless it's a very slow time, off peak meal times. But you can probably get same day ADRs at some of the less popular restaurants.

Hacienda isn't a signature.
