Which Meal to Pay OOP?

We have seven nights of DDP for our upcoming trip, and exactly seven table service meals planned. However, one of those meals, DD is going with my parents to HDDR (they are on a separate reservation and meal plan.) Therefore, she'll be using two credits at that meal, and we'll have to pay for one of her other meals out-of-pocket.

Which is these remaining meals is best to pay for out of pocket? (It would definitely be a kids' meal - she is only three!)

• Mama Melrose Fantasmic! package lunch
• Captain's Grill dinner
• Tusker House breakfast
• 1900 Park Fare dinner
• Garden Grill breakfast
• Rose and Crown dinner

I am thinking the answer will be either Captain's Grill or Rose and Crown since those are the only meals not buffet, prix fixe, or AYCTE. BUT, people on here often know things that I don't!

I would go to allears.net and check prices. Many times breakfasts are cheaper.

Based on just what you shared, I would probably look at R&C to pay OOP.

ETA: Or you could split a meal with her at R&C. The portions are generous.

Breakfasts are cheaper than lunches or dinners at the same place but kids meals are WAY cheaper at a regular TS than at a buffet. Less than half the price. buffets for breakfast are close to $20 even for kids - at R&C most kid meals complete with drink and dessert are $8.99 except for steak which is $10.99. Prices are identical at Captain's grill. So either of those works.

As of today, kids meal prices at Captain's Grill for dinner are $8.59-$10.59. At Rose and Crown they are $8.99-$10.99. Both come with an entree, drink and dessert. Look at the menus to see which item she would prefer at each place. Then you will have your answer to which place will be cheapest oop.
