Which meal to pay for OOP?

We are on the DDP and have an ADR for CRT for Breakfast. We didn't want to loose out on a Table Service meal (since CRT is 2 credits) so we are going to pay for one meal OOP. I have an idea of which one is best but was looking for others opinions and reasons. Our meals are: Dinners @ Tony's, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Tutto Italia, Captain's Grille, & Le Cellier. Breakfast @ CRT & Cape May Cafe. So if these were you're ADR's and you wanted to pay for one OOP because you are using 2 credits for CRT, which would you pay for and why?

Since you won't be limited by the dining plan, why not try someplace not on the plan like Fulton's Crabhouse or Shula's.

I'd look at the menu's and see what you think you'd like to order. I'd pay oop for the meal that was the cheapest.

I know for us we probably would just drink water and not order desert for that meal.

We always get the DDP and pay for our Cape May breakfast out of pocket. It just makes the most sense.

I'd pay for either Tony's or 50's Prime Time out of pocket.

We always have one meal that we need to pay for after we use all our dining credits and we usually pay for Prime Time since they have cheaper meals. I would check the menus online and see whats looks the most reasonable. We will need to pay for two this trip since LeCellier is going to be 2 credits when we go in Aug. Will just look at the menus and pay for the two cheaper ones.

Glad to see someone else who sees more value in paying OOP for CRT vs. burning 2 credits. We are doing the same thing. We have DDP for 6 days, but have 11 ressies, including CRT. We ranked our ressies in order of overall cost pp to determine which should be OOP vs. which we'd use credits on. If it's something that involves menu prices vs. something pre fixe- we did hypothetical ordering to get an estimated cost.

We will use 2 credits for Hoop de doo. We will pay OOP for Crystal Palace breakfast. Breakfasts are the best bet for OOP when on DDP (unless it is a 2 credit breakfast!) Last time we paid OOP for Poly Best Friends Lilo & Stitch breakfast.

In your case I would pay for 50's Prime Time.

I agree with the idea of trying someplace not on the dining plan.

OR....consider paying for CRT out of pocket and have two more meals. The price for CRT is not the same as two other meals.

Pay for CRT out of pocket. It is not worht 2 meal credits. If you don't, then do the cheapest meal out of poicket, which would be cape May
