Lunch or dinner tends to work best for our family for a couple of reasons. We are rope drop people so we try to avoid booking any reservations during the first couple hours of the day when the park crowds and wait times are lower. Even if it’s a PPO breakfast we have anxiety that we will not be seated promptly, the characters will not all make it around before we want to leave and, in general just feel like we’re constantly checking the clock and rushing to make sure we’re not late for rope drop. Eating a TS meal later in the day allows us to get out of the crowds and into air conditioning during the busiest parts of the day and we do not feel rushed eating or meeting the characters. Additionally, we’ve always purchased the dining plan (we do a lot of character meals) and the dinner options tend to offer the biggest bang for our dining plan dollar.
